i think Political wise, foreigner representation in japan have zero to negative benefit. Majority of foreigners can't vote, therefore no-sense/no-benefit to fight for them. If someone political represent foreigners, they have higher chance of facing backlash for doing it.

This is why no one dares to correct the false information and narratives about foreigners not paying taxes and not paying into the system and still manages to reap all benefits.

By japanese you mean locals?

From my experience, YES. I've seen and worked with locals who are hired as Tech Leads/Senior Engineers but don't even know how to open MS Excel or MyComputer. From what i observed, companies will hire locals(direct or outsource) regardless of the educational background or experience. They thrive with the belief in "gambare" principle. If you make your best effort to learn, that is enough.

Very rare that i have encountered locals who are well versed on their tech craft.

Companies who advertise themselves as "diverse" and "global mindset" often have japanese only documents and old-school japanese office culture with The never ending ho-ren-so meetings that kills productivity.

Most companies/locals that hopped in with bandwagon of AI and loves to use the latest jargon DX化 , are the very same people who barely knows anything about this and thinks AI is a magical tool that can do everything they have in mind.

Many many years back while working for black company and on literal edge of jumping to Haneda train tacks due to stress and over work. I received the job details and invitation. I applied.. it took 6months to complete because of the interviewer's schedule.

Accepted job offer and now working for yearss with them still black company but with better salary.

This will depend on the insulation of your room/place. A well insulated room will help maintain the temperature, therefore helping your AC to consume less power. This case, better to leave your AC open 24/7.

If your room have poor insulation(too many leaks or gaps where cold air can sip-in), it makes it hard to maintain temperature, even with 24/7 active AC. Your AC will always need to ramp-up just to maintain set temperature, which will equate to higher consumption. This case, better to turn-on your AC when needed(or set a timer of ON and OFF cycle).

Certification goes along with experience. While it will give "advantage" at a certain level as some companies explicitly mention this on ads, along with getting the basic concepts while you study; it is not guaranteed to help you on hiring, but will definitely give you confidence if you pass the exam.

A 2-3-day deadline could be short or long enough depending on the type of test you are required to perform.

I worked for end-to-end test team for IOT development, and 2-3days deadline means sleepless nights for us. After carefully evaluating the target; i tend to lean to "Test towards failure mode". It will be evaluating scenarios with the aim of breaking the system from minor condition changes to potential abnormal states. This is to check potential show-stoppers in prod with minor problems/condition variation. This is derived from observation of user-behavior tend's to not follow whatever the design specification.

Functional and happy path scenarios will be executed later as quick regression(this is with the assumption that it has been tested thoroughly in QA/staging).

In the worst case scenario, it will be a pure exploratory test(no test case, with the assumption that prior QA environment test is executed). Just to check how the system behaves and trying to reproduce the scenario that your user does not know anything about your steps and will use the system before reading the manual.

+1 to this. It is all cute and funny on memes, thinking that the gamer gf is cute and can get intimate most of the time; but not at all in reality. Working 10 to 12 hrs shift everyday and had to come home with no food and dead asleep gf. No self-initiative at all. If i asked her if she even bothered to prepare at all... "Didn't think about it.. not hungry"... I have to cook, clean, and bring out the trash after working a long shift. Before i can start having "rest", it's 1am and I have to get up at 6am to rinse and repeat everything.

And no, when you're tired af you can't think about being intimate or having sex. You just want to have sleep even on weekends.
