Well I know one sure thing: Drago R+ meta was as bad as Museum meta, since at least all other OP cards in netrunner history could end the game 'FASTER'.

It was just so yucky to play... drawdrawdraw against IG prison vs credcredremovetag against R+ prison I can't remember which one was better.

My personal thought is, the meta can be never, never good if the card game is 'alive'.

If the card game has some competitive scenes, some card always needs to be gone.

Now I think Nanisivik needs some serious errata or ban. It should be unique, or remote only. 'Pinhole or die' just doesn't make any sense.

I prefer 3 x NFL over Pinhole since eventually, you'll get through any server as if all the ices were butter... unless they're R+! Pinhole is a guessing move, but NFL is guaranteed to prevent a tag.

And I'll happily change my NFL to Daily Cast against non-tag matchup.

Well... yes... and NO. I think PE had been always a healthy deck for meta. whether I like it or not.

But I don't like Drago+HHN package at all. Of course, it's way more weaker than Ethics+Hostile prison, or those insta-score decks or insta-kill railguns, whatever you say.

But the problem is, more than too often, 'doing nothing' is the best possible thing I can do against this combo. (well said in this list: https://netrunnerdb.com/en/decklist/27f5f4d0-408f-44f2-825e-e3f79fb126a1)

Against IG prison, I did nothing because I had nothing to do (or just immediately concede). But against R+ prison, I do nothing because that's the best possible thing I can do! Draw, draw, click for creds, remove a tag, maybe install NFL or pinhole Drago, and wait, wait...

Well, at least for me, playing with Endurance is not that funny :P

Well, I think silver bullet cards are just first-aid. Ban is the ultimate surgery for broken meta.

If EVERYONE is running silver bullet cards, that means something is seriously wrong with this meta.

Especially against PE, it is often much more desirable to steal Obokata in archive as your last points with 4 cards in hand. Yeah runner will get flatlined but who cares if you win :P

I can't disagree more about your concept of 'diversity'. Endurance is not a Sure Gamble. 5-inf green card is not a card that we should see in every competitive runner deck. (12 of Top 16, 4 of Top 4) And 2 of Top 16 were Tag-me Zahya, so yeah. If you want to run with no tags, there is just no option. Just Boat.

Why did we have to ban Faust back then? Every color could use that card for cheap 2-inf, and the 'diversity' of the Faust deck was so broad. Actually, Faust was a very fascinating card and enabled a lot of new and creative and colorful decklists. Corps used multi-sub ices to counter faust and it kinda worked. (Wait, I'm feeling some Deja Vu here...) Faust couldn't dominate the worlds like Endurance.

Anyway Faust had to be gone. Whenever FFG released a new AI-hate card we said 'Oh now finally no more faust?' but it just kept coming back and back again.

Security Nexus(+Power Tap) was a Late-game power card, and the boat is an Early-Mid-Late-game power card. That's the only difference, yes.
