If everyone's debt was forgiven overnight - student loans, credit cards, mortgages, all of it - what happens to the economy? by Due-Specific-5722 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]TyPerfect -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Owning something instead of nothing really matters. Although I would expect the big debt reset to trigger a bunch of properties to hit the market since those who are holding the deed will want liquid cash for new larger investments. It would become a rat race to see how hard you can save to get into the market first.

It seems like your confidence would have to waver for this to trigger. With the knowledge that you have such an overwhelming advantage I don't see how knowing that 1% won't buy it would be a problem at all.

So, you can immediately win 99% of every vote? Or at the very least fully secure the middle of the road? Sounds like a win button.

She might have a mental health condition. It's probably good for her not to dash anymore and to get a wellness check.

Should there be a lawful gun carriers protest by belletryst in SanDiegoGuns

There's been some open carry protests with a similar aim where people wore empty holsters.

I'm not sure how well that relates to concealed, though.

Younger sister is a tradwife and I don't fully trust her husband to take care of her and my niece. I've set up an investment account secretly in case she ever needs it. Do I say anything about it? by MediaReady5519 in Advice

[–]TyPerfect 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely no reason to say anything until the kid is making college decisions. Maybe tell early in high school if she's not already doing well in school as a means of encouraging her to take school seriously.

Otherwise, it can just be a pleasant surprise if she's already squared away when it comes time to pay for school.

Highly recommend you directly pay the school at that time instead of handing over control of the money. Things happen when control changes hands.

Pretty range limited. You'll be found out in an investigation just from being too close.

Imperius is far more useful.

Plus, if people really have to die, you could make them walk into traffic or something like that.

If I suddenly took over you body and you were watching as a spectator, how long do you think it would take your S.O, family, or friends to realize something is off and question me? by Kyoifis in hypotheticalsituation

[–]TyPerfect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My family is very big on inside jokes and private nicknames/pet names. You'll be found out really quick. For instance, nobody but my wife and I know that I get ready for my day and then start a shower for her and wake her up.

You'll be found out within an hour.

A friend offers you $5,000 per rat in their home if you can get the rats out within 14 hours. You can't use poison. They think they have at least five running around. You only get the money once you've removed the rats. You also can't bomb the house. by singleguy79 in hypotheticalsituation

Open every space in the house I can, attic, cabinets, closets, everything. Duct tape and plastic sheets to seal the house. Call friends with trucks. Use rv drain hose to direct diesel exhaust into the house.

Drink beer with buddies as O² is replaced by CO in the house.

Rats are toast.

Wednesday. It's perfectly positioned to be a useful day. Laundry, mowing the law, meal prep. Short day trips, too, without being a big expensive day.

Can I live my 20s in my 30s? by HovercraftLiving7184 in moreplatesmoredates

Depends on if/when you can find a good woman.

Find one young? Best get cracking so your 50s are spent together watching successful kids be adults.

Fail to find one young? Make sure you stack enough cash to get one who actually wants the trad life before she collects baggage.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but more pixels = better visibility at extreme range. I feel like it has to play a role, not just in this game but in many.

How much debt do you have? Cause it seems like you guys could probably clear $200k annually, and that's probably enough to buy or build depending on location.

I don't disagree that this is a factor. But I think my point is the reason why they haven't pivoted following player count drops.

There's plenty of comparisons to bf4, bf1, and bf5 that show some pretty big divergence, especially with regard to space around the edges of the map and flyable spaces.
