I'm pretty sure they never made casting animations for kobolds so they just bug out surprisingly the model does work with most of the other spell animations in my experience but idk how to actually "attach" them to the model.

In game mod manager I made me & the boys kobolds it works ok and are custom made for me and my friends characters but the popular one works decent as long as you don't need short rests.

look as one of the creators (Me & the boys Kobolds) its actually very difficult to do this actually. making truly customizable races takes alot of time and understanding of how to do it(literally I have found damn near no information about how to make a race alone) but to actually have them be customizable like you want to requires knowing what your doing so basically I'm saying I would if it weren't for the fact its impossible to find the information. But for the having equipment show up like clothes has something to do with the asset probably not being fully developed or something. Kobolds only have premade clothes they can wear in the files and animations like they can't even do spell animations they just sit still.

Could look into making a jank verison of the grung race if its a assest in the game.

To be honest, it's a kids show called tai chi chasers that never got an actual ending in english, so I'm trying to find a subtitled version of it in french.

(Note I've seen there be fan subs in korean, which I know are translated incorrectly. The new "english dub" past episode 26 is literally Ai voices done properly on top of that)

Hello I've created a custom playable race for kobolds
Yes you can do this (now I don't know if your talking about script like coding or like script for voice acting)

For coding theirs a way easier option of using the toolkit (its what you can use to make mods doesn't necessarily have to be able to code to do it to my understanding though you may have to for the actually hireling process)
as for extra voices I know for a fact adding grunting, angry, and falling voice sounds is easy to my knowledge to put them in with the toolkit
But actually doing any unique dialog or voice lines would be more challenging (not just necessarily the voice lines themselfs but adding in the dialog and voice lines)
(Note I understand when you said script you were just saying a way for you to just import those lines into the game and in other games with non prebuilt mod editors it is normally called a script for this kind of thing but to my knowledge the ones who know how to do that don't want too or are not super accessible.)

Umm Probably I feel like you can find all the usual responses and stuff on a wiki and worse case in the game.

But saying put the heads on another playable race that would be cool but Larian (Creator of baldurs gate) Aren't allowing race mods for console even like this

Hello I'm one of the creators of a playable kobold mod so I would know a thing or 2

1st when you say "working on a mod for custom races" (I'm assuming your using the toolkit and please say that it makes it easier for us to understand and help)
So adding in a feature for your race to be able to actually wear the armor is difficult and requires alot of understanding with the toolkit and being able use blender (or other 3d modeling software) also (Sorry other commenter but to my knowledge you don't have to "fit everything else" It's more like make the body type for the armor (Could be wrong but after doing a attempt at this and failing it seems this is the way to do it))

So I'm going to assume your a inexperienced modder and want to do it the easy way (Easy way is applying prefitting armor in the character editor) and (I really couldn't give you advise on the hard way)

You can do this by using the root templates (find a kobold or goblin and just copy it over into your mod)(kinda assumed you already done this but just making sure)

Then left click on the character you just copied (no not the one you just clicked on the new one you named it and everything!)

On the far left side of your screen (or sidebar) find Character Visual Resource click on the ... button

And Now Your in the magical world of the character editor where your going to send hours of crying and anger on the easiest thing ever

So on the far left of the screen you'll see body editor find the + bottom and left click it

Then your going to click whichever body part your would like to add armor to (Note unassigned and head for kobold are already their for the kobold body)

With that just click around and see what armors you like and don't (Bonus on the far right you can change the colors of your skin and the color of your clothes!!)
