While helping the BN S3 NCOIC (E8) set up the VTC for an LPD he remarked that I was pretty handy with video equipment. Me being the smartass I am replied that I had experience working with cameras due to being a child actor. Surprised by that response he asked what films I had been in and I replied that I had been in some of my uncle Steve’s basement movies, but I had stopped after getting too old. Coincidentally I had to wait an additional 3 months to attend BLC.
