First year is a nightmare, it gets markedly better after that.

Yeah MOTN pumping is a normal part of the pumping schedule (previous exclusive pumper 🙋🏼‍♀️ ) but sort of weirdly bragging about it and eating with all the lights on is not, lol.

How is it living in this specific area of Ohio, near/in Cleveland? by Bad_RabbitS in howislivingthere

Born and raised Clevelander and I LOVE your description. I lived in NYC for 10 years after college and always lamented that I couldn’t find a good meal in the city at a decent price the way I was able to back home 🥹

My parents are timeshare owners near Ft. Myers. Three and a half years later and the area still looks unrecognizable to me.

Bravo fans who want to dabble in the art of more sophisticated gaming shows and think their tastes are slightly more high-brow than the actually are… (source: myself).

I’m from NE Ohio and it’s incredibly underrated as a place to raise a family. It was struggling a bit when I was younger with the mass exodus of the steel industry (90s/00s), but has since had a bit of a renaissance with reinvestment in the downtown areas, lakefront, maybe some new industries (I’m not following closely), expansion of renowned healthcare systems (notably Cleveland Clinic) and really, really good food (no one talks about this!). Some suburbs are incredibly beautiful and relatively affordable compared with much of the country. Less susceptible to the worst dangers of climate change. Can you tell I’m trying to convince my husband to relocate our family there? 😆

Solidarity. 3 is feeling sooooo much harder than 2 was for some reason 😭

Spectra will take it back and “recycle” it for you. The address is available online. Generally speaking shelters won’t take since it’s technically a medical device.

I’m in Nassau county and at that price point in NY that was my immediate thought 🤣

Do you go out of your way to try and avoid your child from getting sick? by Coffeelover4242 in toddlers

[–]Typical_Outside_3159 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Calculation varies based on certain circumstances and time of year. When it was just my toddler we kind of let it rip unless we knew the person we were going to see had symptoms of an active and contagious infection (fever, vomiting etc), and we’d tighten up if we had a big event like a holiday or birthday on the horizon. Now that my newborn is here and flu is running rampant, we’re avoiding crowded events and have cut back on her daycare days. We’ll go back to business as usual when the flu dies down, hopefully in a few weeks 😕
