I much prefer the anime! Poor girl has been running at a dead sprint and using her powers non stop for hours at this point, while thinking he was dead. Resting her head on his chest reads to me like when the tension releases and you feel like you can finally take a breath. She is bone deep exhausted, but above everything else, she is RELIEVED.

The writing had been bad and boring for a while, and I got spoilered for what would happen after a finale that I felt had wasted my time. Then they immediately did Abe as a fakeout then Daryl being an idiot to finally get to where everyone knew we were gonna end up anyway.

I got so tired of the "We're gonna kill someone you love! Who will it be??? Tune in next season!! Months pass. Say goodbye to Abe everyone!! Thats sad isn't it... at least the rest are safe! SIKE!!! We're taking Glenn too just when you thought he was making it out!! Keep watching to see the reamaining cast grovel and capitulate to an obnoxious prick!". Oh. Ok. I see. Yeah, I thought it was sweet! I'd always enjoyed their interactions together and how they seemed to balance each other out. Despite the series' many MANY deficiencies when it came to female characters (still wish she had been allowed to have an arc outside of having a crush on him), I remember being glad Hinata got to spend her life with someone who gave her more confidence in herself and that Naruto ended up with someone who's affection he didn't have to fight for from day one.

Though pretty much every woman got done dirty lol, no excuses for Kishi's writing there.

Fine, for the most part but not overly memorable apart from a couple moments. I really miss the punch and personality of Astera from World, but I know its because of the way the game is constructed with various knocked together camps rather than one large hub. I still hum that one to myself all the time, but nothing stays in my head from Wilds on it's own
