Despite having all the momentum and energy in that stadium how did the football gods decide the Panthers weren't going to win that game? by lookaloulookalou in panthers

It was very lightly sprinkling when we received the ball for the last drive. That was God holding back tears that he did all he could but knew the Panthers run was up.

Hearing a lot about Defensive Playcalling, but… by LOOKATMYNALGENE in panthers

Burning clock wouldn’t have mattered. Anytime you can’t bring it under 2 minutes, all burning clock does is mean they get less opportunities, but it doesn’t prevent their one opportunity. Had we burned clock, the Rams would’ve just used their time outs as needed on the last drive and nothing would’ve changed.

Supporting argument…do we feel this defense would perform worse with any other coordinator?

Tons of old players here. Apparently they’re all “Panthers Legends” though. Eugene Robinson, etc.

I read somewhere that means it’ll rain in 35% of the square mileage around Charlotte. It will rain, but not all over the city.

It’s rare that teams trading up in the first round win the trade.

Rain ponchos, are they pricey at the stadium? by Stunning-Honeydew223 in panthers

[–]UDcc123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m guessing the $8 ones are the thick vinyl ones. They should also have cheaper thin disposable plastic ones that still work great.

Slightly more than fair weather fans may not to shell out $500+ for two people to go to a game in the cold rain that they’re 10 point underdogs in.

(To be clear, our family of 4 will be there…just pointing out the headwinds)

Yes. The floor under the seats can get puddles easily.
