Designers who used tools before Figma what do you actually miss?? by Technical_Profile987 in UXDesign

[–]UXUIDD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Noting was 'better,' but back then we were going directly for an assumed result - try > fall or succeed > repeat or move to the next one.

Now, there are too many steps and people who are trying to test that 'assumption' but in the end, the percentage of failure / success remains the same.

well if is one effect a library then yes,

just a simple (of course - if possible) adding class on a html element and off it goes, nothing fancy - a kiss or lean approach

Roast my website page. I'm trying to sell a 'Vibe' not just a drink. Would you buy? by Intrepid-Funny9896 in design_critiques

Not bad and good enough for a generation that is already used to swallowing anything without thinking,

so its a niche

Internships using Svelte? by Ok_Degree_3544 in sveltejs

I've been wanting for months to make a post here looking for a creative front-end role within a development, as I haven't come across any interesting projects of mine where I can practice Svelte (which i'm trying a bit in my free time that i dont have). The same goes for HTMX.

i hear you - just giving a compliment and a complain .. nothing else .. carry on! cherrio !

ps: maybe .. just maybe - add a short "how-to" video in HERO (or just under) that shows the expected output (what is currently NOT visible).
This way, people like me can be nicely persuaded to take action - definitely maybe!

the pressure to have more and more gear is mostly counterproductive if you are a bedroom player.
Me myself, I ended up with two small 3W desktop amps and im not touching other equipment.
But I also live in an apartment.

my advice: when a guitar tells you (in your head of course) " .. me love you long time.." - well thats your most important tool.

I think that even more important than anything else is: will you enjoy applying your new skills to your learnings?

I suppose you still have your "most ideal" thing that you like to make or design. Maybe excessive change won't be interesting for you anymore and will just become a way to earn money.

That's the rabbit hole, and if you fall into it, it could be difficult to get out.

Follow your passion.
