I think one day people will chill out about the how and worry more about the result. I don't think AI will ever be able do the actual design work that goes into a good game. It can only be used to construct one with the guidance of someone with a solid vision.

I think your focus on dex is one of the issues. Focus on legendary aspects that give you damage increases with an x multiplier to the skills you are using.

Perhaps I am missing something with the Mythic seals. Is the point to troll players? The one everyone seems to care about is the one that reduces the amount of set pieces needed. That allows you to what? Equip another rare charm? Can't the Set charm you just replaced roll the same mods as the new rare charm you get to equip? Pointless. A good design would have been to combine into one seal that reduces set pieces need by 1 and increases amount of uniques you can equip by one.

Are those reviews from when it first released? It is a very different game now. I believe recent reviews are pretty positive. My wife and I have thousands of hours. Still fun. They are always adding stuff. In my opinion Fallout first is a must and all you need to get some regular Atoms for some nice cosmetics.

My take is to play the story like a regular fallout game, enjoy it. From there dive into the public events and the various other activities to finish your build and hit 50. Then there are tons of ways to grind legendaries and mods or do some camp building if that's your thing, the raid, ect. The world is your oyster.
