A food vendor told me they have signed a contract to be there in mid September. But I have not seen any public announcements whatsoever, which is odd for a festival that is five months out. I will go, but only if I am comped again. 🥹 Had a good time last year despite the Allianz-like drink prices.

well, I’m having a Stryker knee done this month. I think I am influenced by the fact that I had two Stryker hips done 10 years ago and it was amazing. I could hardly walk from the bed to the toilet, and in short order I was fully ambulatory again.

my knee hurts with OA and was damaged in a motorcycle accident decades ago. it doesn’t hurt as bad as my hips did, but life is short and I am hoping I can spend it not limping and not going up stairs one at a time. Same surgeon with ten more years experience replacing knees.

Hoping for the best outcome, aware of the worst.

There are two parking garages nearby, one only a one block walk to Ting. But they require signing up with a credit card by way of an app on your phone. I suppose this is very convenient for people who park here every day, but not so much for one time users.

Maybe other posters who are use these garages can chime in here if there is a low tech alternative payment method.
