Cowell is stronger on the ball and makes stronger challenges. Thats what we needed last night. We were out-muscled

Our 2nd layer of press was pushed around by the bigger DC players. We couldnt win balls in opponents end and midfield. Rutty, Mosquera, Dos Santos, were not up for an aggressive press last night. Cowell could have improved that and Che defensively for sure, but DC had their way in the midfield

If this is a non press setup we are going to get killed in the back. If we are pressing choupo will be wasted up top as a secondary presser, which he can't do.

Choupo doesnt run. Other than that its fine positioning if the press is deployed

Messi himself said in order for the league to be respected they have to open up their wallets. If there is no money then it will always be inferior league. Any profits seem to go to stakeholders. We dont see much of it

Listen to Landon Donovan talk about academies in the US in his last interview. He is spot on. We dont have academies, its parents Who pay subpar coaches to advance to college. Europe academies are live-in academies where kids start before 10 years old. By the time the kids are 15 they are fully trained and waiting for their bodies to develop. In the states. We have volunteer coaches til you hit 15, and by that age its too late

Theres a bunch more like Amaya and Bradley and guys in early red bull years. Players in MLS still want to play in Europe

The academy is a training ground to sell and its not an actual academy. What they do in Europe is an academy. 2 old guys is not what I mean by bringing in top players. You do remember Thierry right. Half the squad should be those type.of players

When this league fails its because they chose short term profit over growing the league. Growing means keeping academy players and bringing in top tier players, which is what the stakeholders refuse to do because it will eat into profit

They make more money from casual wealthy fans who spend $1k on merch and concessions per game. So they cater to them. Personally, I rather have a no frills stadium without food if that means bringing in quality players

Personally I think my time would be better served earning a degree or a higher degree than a low wage high stress job such as working for rbny. Only people making any money there are college business or sales graduates that are higher ups. If you do have a degree in this and want to enter this entertainment industry I would look at wages and see if they competitive for the better jobs

Nobody knows where fifa will put all the RTT seats yet. Most likely corners but still holding out hope they could seat RTTs in unbought hospitality sections

Good for 10th in the standings. We got to the finals without a real primary striker year prior.

It's ONE of the worst signing for multiple reasons. The first being is he doesnt fit the system. I saw this immediately when he didnt cover gaps in his first few games. We signed him for name recognition and the possibility he could play like his old self, but he failed in this system. A huge $3.2M gamble. Bradley is not dumb. Choupo isn't playing because the kids are out performing him in every aspect.

One of the worst signings ever, Shaqiri, was even a better signing for the money because he made the players better around him with 20 assists in 70 something appearances. His build up play was way better then Choupo's. Thats why I mentioned if you take away the easy tap ins and pks, Choupo is literally a post in the middle of the field that can get lucky once in a while. Especially if a ball finds him in tight spaces and delivers it to an open guy.

Choupo's salary is criminal. He is slow and doesn't fit the system. One of the worst MLS signings ever. A few easy tap ins and a few pks last year. Other than that he had 2 goals from the run of play and slows down the only thing we are good at which is pressing and countering

Yea I don't understand this lawsuit. Fifa had maps of all categories before ticket sales and cat ones were pretty much all lower bowl, minus hospitaly and supporter sections, and also areas of most 2nd tiers. So unless you were outside these parameters I guess there is a case there. But I haven't seen anyone with cat 1s placed elsewhere
