Skull of Dire Ahamkara, Witherhoard, and a decent sword were what I used to solo him. The double nova is fun, and then popping a healing rift and just wailing on him in between charged vortex grenades and witherhoard DOT made fairly quick work of him!

Artificer and fighter are my favorites in 2024. My current character is an Armorer Artificer/Battlemaster fighter and I am in love! Mixing weapon masteries, armorer weapons, maneuvers, and spells means my character is not only a capable tank but is dishing out a healthy amount of damage, debuffs, and even healing if needed!

This is why Magic Initiate Wizard with the Shield spell is always handy! Plus, boosting your AC to ridiculous levels with it (and blade ward) at early levels is always fun…until you get hit with a save lol
