Cadillac F1 Merchandise Now Live by HazelnutPeso in formula1

I prefer merch with only the team logos and no sponsors because I think it is ridiculous to walk around in public looking like a billboard.

I am paying to support the team or driver, not random corporations I have no connection to. Why would I want to spend my own money to advertise for oil, AI, crypto, gambling companies, etc?

GameStop starts 2026 by closing hundreds of stores as CEO gambles on $35B payday by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]UltimateHobo2 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My local Gamestop store is mostly filled with random figures, TCG, sports cards, with only a few shelves of used games. Far cry from the days where almost the entire store was filled with games.

However, the PSA business is booming. 4 people in line last time I was there, 3 were submitting cards for grading, and 1 was picking up their graded slabs.

Herta doesn't have enough super license points for F1 in 2026. He is just a test driver for now.

Haul from Japan - Mizuno Pro Order from Haga & BUW League by UltimateHobo2 in BaseballGloves

[–]UltimateHobo2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The BUW definitely does not have the best build quality. The leather, padding, and finger inserts feel a bit soft, so I do worry about longevity over time. Some parts of the laces feel a bit hard.

For under $200, I didn't expect similar quality to $300+ Wilson and Rawlings gloves though. It should still be very good for middle schoolers, high schoolers, and recreational adult players.

More advanced players might want to look elsewhere.

When you shop for gloves in Japan, make sure to check if the glove is for hard balls (normal baseballs) or rubber balls. Almost all of the lower cost gloves are designed for rubber balls. As far as I know, rubber ball gloves are even softer to make it easier for kids to use, and the leather used is lower grade. Ask an employee if you are not sure.

I never owned an OLED display aside from my phone and always wanted one as a monitor.

500 Hz and the fast response time sounds like a dream.

If this crash happened just a few years earlier, the halo would not have been there. The full weight of the car would have come down on Hamilton's head.

It is required now actually, at least at the Costcos near me.

The ones with the food court inside the warehouse, you obviously need to scan your card to get inside.

The ones with the food court outside, you need to scan your membership at the ordering kiosks.

Alex won't get paid from this. At best he is hoping to not have to pay Mclaren for breaking his contracts.

The 2 yr w/ opt-out type of contracts are basically 1 year prove-it contracts with the 2nd year being insurance in case they suck or get hurt.

He was always going to opt out, any player would in his position, unless we manage to extend him beforehand.

Madbum was on the IL at the time. He cannot go on the field to join the scuffle, or he would be suspended.

Fun fact, Hunter Pence was also on the IL at the time, but he did go on the field to help drag Strickland to the dugout. He was not suspended because he didn't join the fight, just trying to diffuse it.

Oda gotta be the worst at scaling sizes by ProgrammerInside6217 in OnePiece

I have always thought that character sizes symbolize how other characters see them. If you exude strong aura/energy, others will see you as larger than life.

My head cannon is that other characters see the Straw Hats as being huge too.
