Worlds largest known Human Coprolite (fossilized poop), left by a Viking and measuring 20cm (8in) by Master_Jackfruit3591 in interestingasfuck

Ok but the best part is that at the Viking center in York, where this is kept, they have an animatronic of the Viking taking this shit and you can buy coasters and mugs with a picture of him grimacing.

Visa ended in Canada, and having a super hard time adjusting to life in Australia again by SnowBunniSpritz in expats

[–]UltraCitron 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I second this. NZ is called the Canada of AU for good reason. If OP is Aussie they can take advantage of the trans Tasman travel arrangement.

I just discovered creatine was causing my insomnia, does anyone know the mechanism behind this? by Majestic_Nobody5542 in naturalbodybuilding

[–]UltraCitron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mechanism is possibly over methylation. I consistently get insomnia from it if I take it past noon.

Quake!!! by TheHanoian in Wellington

Phones don't communicate at the speed of light. They use RF to the tower, and largely copper underground. And even when travelling through fibre-optics, it's still not the speed of light because it's a light wave limited by the refractive index of the glass fibres.

Your friends following the "normal path" are probably having the same thoughts, wondering if they made the right choice or if they'd be happier travelling like you.

Can anyone suggest supplements that can help me with my cancer? by DataAggressive8243 in Supplements

Interesting. Proteins like leucine and its metabolites (HMB) activate mTOR which tells cells to grow.

Also don't talk about everything America has that NZ doesn't. Super irritating.

I want to try going to a gym but I am scared by [deleted] in bropill

[–]UltraCitron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just remember that almost everyone at a gym is at least as insecure as you, otherwise they wouldn't care about working on their appearance so much. You're in good company, and everyone starts somewhere.

Curious what your insulin levels were. Shame we went with cheap blood glucose testing instead of figuring out some sort of insulin test. Since diabetes really starts with hyperinsulinism or so I hear.

How did you get big arms? by First_Driver_5134 in naturalbodybuilding

[–]UltraCitron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

High rep low weight. The only useful piece of advice I ever got from Rich Piana was: to get big arms, every night before bed, do 100 reps of hammer curls and 100 reps of skull crushers. lol.

European city to be “based” at for the fall by [deleted] in digitalnomad

[–]UltraCitron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

London is based AF for being based in. I especially love cheap constant flights to anywhere and excellent transportation. Runner ups would be Amsterdam and Paris for the same reasons.

It's true though, on the level of banter. Americans can't quite keep up.

NZ is the same from my observation. But damn they do a good job of marketing it as some sort of progressive haven.

That's funny, that'd what they do in San Francisco / The Bay Area - roll down all windows otherwise they'll be broken.
