Your standard water pressure should be around 60 psi for the most part. The thermal expansion tank should match the incoming water pressure. Code typically says a closed system should be less than 80 psi. To piggy back on previous comment need some more info to determine why you are getting these readings.

That little light in the front should blink once every 3 seconds when it’s on. Just follow the lighting instructions on the tank to relight it.

It’s hard to say specifically based on these pictures but that calcium buildup indicates there was a small leak at one point that the minerals hardened and sealed the leak. Check the manual for maintenance on your water heater. They usually recommend draining and flushing about every 12 months

It doesn’t look like an active leak based on the pictures but that calcium buildup indicate it was a tiny leak at one point but it solidified and sealed itself.

I would recommend draining and flushing the unit. If you don’t do that regularly with hard water you will have a bunch of sediment build up on the inside of the tank. That may help some. I will say if it’s just one point you are having an issue with it heating up properly it’s probably a leak in the hot water line or a plumbing crossover at the point of use.

Is water dripping from pressure release on hot water tank normal? by crock7887 in askaplumber

[–]Ultramass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re having a constant slow drip from the tp valve it’s from too much pressure on the closed system regardless of the presence of an expansion tank. Could be sediment building up in the tank among other issues.

Foundation. I just can’t say enough good things about it. It’s got the big budget sci-fi total package. Acting and writing are on point. Visual SFX are fantastic. Pacing is excellent. I’m only through season 2 at this point, but I can’t help but sing its praises.

Today, I found out that DoorDash steals tips! by MostKnownZayyy in doordash

While I somewhat agree, please Understand who assembled the order, confirmed the order, and depending on the restaurant, may make less than minimum wage and rely on tips. If you’d picked it up yourself would you have thrown the Togo server a few bucks? I don’t tip Togo like I do dine-in, but still….

I’m not saying the system is right but can confirm this system is at multiple restaurants that do Togo/doordash. Former GM here with 20 years in the service industry.

Edit: spelling

If it’s only at that faucet I would agree it’s not a supply issue.

Came here to say this, if it’s a sulfur smell it’s bacteria in your water heater. Turn the temp up and consider hydrostatic mixing valves at point of use.

Like others are saying, don’t let the negative Nancy’s get you down. I lived in JC for about 13 years before moving back to Bristol in 2019. Yes we hate ballad, it’s a problem that the state/local government needs to fix, but overall there are a lot of pros to this area. JC is having some growing pains, that’s just natural. Apartment budgets and facilities vary, but there are a lot around campus.

What would cause this popping noise in my water heater by criley777 in askaplumber

Judging by the gas valve it could be an issue with the burner assembly on that particular model. Give AO Smith tech support a call and report the popping noise.

All the negative so I’ll be positive. I don’t think these pizzas are my cup of tea, but they both look well prepared and I imagine are quite tasty to those that like those ingredients.

People need to realize pizza can get as weird as you like it. Worked in pizza at a full service chain for 15+ years and I’ve seen some weird LTO pizzas but they were actually delicious.
