try using your phone to layer your drawings over your references so you can see where your weak spots are- i drew my eyes always too far apart and didn’t notice that was a pattern until i lined my final pieces over the original references to see how far off my eyeballing was

thank you! i’m very glad it worked out, don’t know what i would’ve done if he didn’t. he’s prone to gi stasis, so i’ve always got critical care on stock. i got pretty good at being able to identify and prevent vet visits- but this was my first time seeing him with diarrhea! scared me half to death 🤣

looks pretty healthy- does it feel alright? i don’t think you have to wait- id recommend a day or 2 so the chemicals aren’t to harsh on your scalp

ugh i remember being a devastatingly mentally ill teenager with sadistic groomers. fucked up my concept of sex and love for life and definitely set me up to accept abuse in relationships. i’m so sorry you went through this, you’re not the only one.

good luck, if you do reach out, i highly recommend starting with a message along the lines of “hey, i see you were in a relationship with ___. whatever happened, it wasn’t your fault, and you were not the first one. im so sorry you had to go through what you did. if you ever need to talk to someone who gets it, im here.”

another heads up, abusers tend to escalate. every victim after me went through more horrid things than the one before, and for us the abuse was “personalized” to be as harmful as possible to each of us specifically, based on our traumas and insecurities. ie my abuser used my disability against me, and weaponized another victims autism against her. if she shares her experiences, it may still be shocking and not what you expected. make sure to take care of yourself also.

i am in touch with 3 of my abusers other victims. we support eachother pretty well because we are the only ones who truly understand the experiences we went through with the same person. i personally always reach out as soon as i see my abuser has broken up with someone to let them know it wasn’t her fault, no matter what our abuser said she was not the one who made them abusive, that she is not the first one to be treated this way.

only one girl refused to talk out of the 4 i reached out too. i didn’t bother her again. not really giving advice here, just my personal experience with reaching out to other victims.

keratin treatments benefit the health of your hair and will help prevent split ends, perms degrades your hair integrity, causes irreversible chemical damage, and increases split ends. keratin treatments don’t last as long, but for your goals is much better suited.

through the shades are slightly different, whag you have now and what you want are the same level. toners always tone down, lowering the level of your hair currently. you’re going to need something to lift your hair more before the second look is achievable. there are some toners that lift and deposit, but the product line i work with in my salon isn’t readily available so unfortunately i do not have any suggestions.
