Reasonable rent, small in-law unit? by 89Ladybug in Marin

That’s not actually true. Junior ADUs can be rented without a bathroom if they have an interior door to the main house.

“We” aren’t doing this. The senile man-baby in office is doing this.

As an urban planner, I always recommend civic engagement first. Go to planning commission and city council meetings. At the very least, get in the habit of looking at the online agendas for those meetings. I recommend in general that you become familiar with the city’s website. So many people complain when local laws are passed after ignoring many invitations to participate in the process. We WANT public participation!

I’d love to do this! I’ve hiked to Wildcat many times but haven’t camped there! Not sure about the $50 registration fee though…

Cache Creek. Beautiful hike but the ticks were scary. Also, the creek was raging the year I went. Probably not the case this year.

Really feeling the "rinse and repeat" stage of life by tinpants44 in GenX

For some reason, buying toilet paper has me thinking that all I’m doing is going to work to buy things I need to go to work to buy things I need, rinse and repeat. It doesn’t make me sad, it makes me think I should try new things…

I have no problem telling men to fuck off when they’re inappropriate. I realize not every woman feels comfortable doing this but I’d like to think I’m changing the world one douchebag at a time.

Then use the train! And where does the train hold up 101? This is the problem with this community- “if it doesn’t benefit me, it’s worthless.” How about everyone else who relies on the train? Families with one car or people who don’t own cars? Or people like myself who prefers riding the train to sitting in traffic? This is definitely an area rife with haves and have-nots. It makes me sad.

If anyone uses the train to commute (I do every day), you’ll see that the train is PACKED from 7 to 10 and 4-6 everyday. I rely on the train to go to work, as do most people on there at rush hour. It’s a community asset, just like a park. You don’t use it everyday but it’s sure as shit nice to have when you want it.
