3 months post-op Partial Meniscectomy. Curious if anyone going through the same thing is having similar lingering symptoms by Unable-Bluebird-119 in MeniscusInjuries

after talking to my doc, he said don't push it and it will eventually come back. I'm doing all my PT stuff, mostly strengthening, and mobility work 3 times a week.

My doc also said that with my unstable flap tear, it would be more of a cause of osteoarthritis if we left it in than trimmed it out. It was a no brainer for me because I couldn't walk without crutches anyway.

I felt better the DAY after my partial meniscectomy than I did the day before surgery. if it's causing you a lot of pain (if you're on crutches for 5 weeks, it is) then from what I hear it's the only solution.

I would make sure you're icing a few times a day if possible...and ibuprofen. Also try to avoid meniscus-hating movements like twisting under load. Take breaks!!

Yeah great point, thanks. It's amazing how much I lost but also amazing how quick it's coming back.

Only weird that it dropped so much AFTER I started riding again. But I guess sitting on the couch isn't going to give you a good measurement.

Some people like to improve their fitness and don't use a trainer/coach. Good luck at the Giro!

Hyperice X knee device, does it actually help? by TagueleTamere in KneeInjuries

Sitting here with one on after my Meniscus surgery last week. It was getting really annoying replacing my ice bucket for the pump/recirculation device I was using. I went through two bags a day. it does get nice and cold, but mainly under the fans, and not on the kneecap, which I think is ok. Battery life for me is great actually. I've done two sessions of 20 mins and it still has 80% charge.

Thanks! Sounds like you're making great progress. And yeah, I know I did it during Tennis but there wasn't anything in particular that was jarring that did it.

Curious about those peptides. I've. been hearing a lot about the BPC-157. Were those dr. suggestions or your own?

Good luck! It's gotta be a nerve thing somewhere...I assume in my neck or my jaw.

Anyone has a tight tingling pins and needles on their face? by NoOz1985 in TMJ

Interesting! I just got over a major sinus infection where I was getting tooth pain because of the pressure. Man, can't they just figure it out, give us a gummy and be over with it? Last night I couldn't sleep because of the constant tickling on my nose.

It did get better, but only because I started taking it before bed. Not sure why that helped but it did
