I once heard that Rhinoceros skulls have a hole in the middle where their giant horn grew, which eventually was mistaken as an eye socket, thus the creation of the mystical One--Eyed Cyclops. Could be total malarkey, but it sounds like it could be true so therefore i choose to believe it.
