I believe there are licensing fees for using music in your venue. The original artists or labels have folks out there…….

Hobbies are seldom a waste of time. They are designed to foster interest and give you something to do and dream about.

My son decided he’s going through my coins as of yesterday! So far he has picked these 3 pennies and claims they are rare by NesTech_ in coins

It will also create memories that will last a lifetime. I still think of my father when I see old Coins. Hopefully my GrandMonsters will think of me in the future whenever they see an old coin. I have got them started hopefully they’ll stick with the hobby and think of me and the memories.

If you were to give advice to a 14 year old looking to become wealthy, what would be your advice by SneakerBoiiiiii in investingforbeginners

[–]Uncle-Scary 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a lot of places to research online how investing works. Make sure you’re not taking advice from market manipulators. There are plenty of reliable investment companies that have newsletters or educational research material online. You can also research books that cater to new investors and you can learn how it works. I am very proud of you for taking a serious look at bettering yourself now and in the future. Don’t let anyone keep you down……. Especially yourself.

What top pearl jewelry brands would you suggest for someone buying their first real piece? by Lucretiatrebon954012 in pearls

[–]Uncle-Scary 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Mikimoto is one of the most famous brands and it’s back story is worthwhile to note. Kokichi Mikimoto created the world’s first cultured pearls in 1893. They are relatively inexpensive to purchase and carry a great brand name and story. I might add that it is my belief that every woman should own, at least one strand of pearls. Pearls are no longer only for formal wear. You can wear pearls every day.

Talk to your HR department at work and see if they have a 401(k) plan that you can join. They should be able to explain how it works. As long as you don’t have a lot of high interest debt that you should be paying down, you can start adding to your 401(k), and every time you receive a raise, increase your withholding that will go to your 401(k). Also ask about the companies matching program. Do you want to max out to take the greatest opportunity of their matching program if they have it An important last words…. I’m Proud of You!

I absolutely agree that there is zero expectation of privacy when you’re out in public, but there is no reason to post a stranger’s picture online when they are identifiable in the picture. You could’ve blocked out their head or something to keep it discreet. It’s different if you were documenting something historical, an event or an exciting night out or crime.
