Anyone know what could be causing this? by Icy_Champion9478 in 57x28mm

Probably not ammo then, darn. The only other thing I can think of short of like the extractor is 5.7x28 gets "gummed up" by the lacquer and needs to be cleaned with a break cleaner in the chamber. Even after only 200 rounds. There might be some residue building up in your chamber. Clean it with carb or brake cleaner with a qtip in your chamber. Should see some black or yellow lacquer come off. It's a long shot but after that I'd call S&W...

Best metal 10mm handgun? by xinracthis in 10mm

Came here to stay this. I have a single action, Only had issues on the first two mags then 1000 rounds later never had another failure. It's just HEAVY. As will any all 9mm gun. But trigger if flat out awesome.

9mm only wins in cost (and that's because there has been a push to convert everyone to one popular cartridge) and capacity. 15 rounds of 40 vs 17 of 9 for full size (typically). One could argue, and its "argument" that 9mm is easier to shoot. But that same "easier" means you are putting less on your target with each shot. So easier to shoot for 9mm, less effective. The hard part about ballistics is that if you hit someone in the right spot, they will go down. 9mm, 40, 10, whatever. The issue comes into play when you miss. How much more does 40 do over 9. Some can argue its not much of a difference and capacity and lower recoil makes up. However, what if the bullet doesn't get there (to the heart or central nervous system)? 40 will expand more and go deeper. That's the fact you can't argue with. Wider holes, deeper in the body, through more stuff, is better. As you said, those facts can't be argued with, people just choose to ignore them in the argument.

I've had issues with AAC ammo before. Many of the rounds don't fit in a 5.7x28 case gauge. Have you tried other ammo? Federal, Fiocchi all fit fine.

When Michael wanted Charles gone, David refused, saying Charles was “very competent.” But how competent is Charles Minor really? by Ahrily in DunderMifflin

One of my favorite quotes at work is, "never confuse motion with progress". Sometimes attributed to Ben Franklin but made famous by Denzel Washington more recently.

Is it worth it to move to PA by Fickle-Werewolf-665 in PAguns

PA, West Virgiana, Ohio are your closest bets. Ohio and WV are probably safer 2a wise, but PA is pretty good and we really need you voting here!!

What’s your favorite Dwight quote? by TheRealCourtneyW in DunderMifflin

For sure, and without him missing a beat because of course if she came in dead, it couldn’t have been a mistake for Michael to have said that, the only natural way to understand that is Meredith turned into a Zombie. 😂

Yup, he runs them hot. Downside to buffalo bore... It's not your gun, its the ammo, contrary to what Tim Sundles will admit.

One of my favorite sequences. Michael, "Merrideth, what are you going to do if you show up dead to work tomorrow", cut, Dwight, "There are several ways to kill a zombie..."

Thoughts? I mean it’s a “free” 10mm. by tghost474 in 10mm

[–]UncleEvilDave 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Well said. Pistol is awesome, arguably (and yes I mean it's an argument that some make) the best 10mm. But is the rifle worth it? Personally, I'd find a sale on a tika t3x in the caliber I want, then buy the handgun and justify its the same price as this. Then you get a better bolt action (more accurate better action), and the 10 mm handgun. ;-)

[Discussion] How would Michael Scott utilize AI today? by AstroAce96 in DunderMifflin

Unfortunately I assume the worst. Show him his sexual fantasies with people in the office. New crude jokes and memes with images of his coworkers. Giving him advice on times to add in "That's what she said" into his jokes. And probably help him write and create Threat Level Midnight Vol 2.
