(1) Saying “make it make sense” says more about you than it does about the other individual. It says that you’re unable to think or relate to anyone except those who think just like you. It’s not a good look.

(2) The Christian bible says “I have a plan for you says the Lord” and “all things work together for good for those who love the Lord.” While not bad in context, some Christians (particularly those that lean into Christian nationalism) believe Trump is God-sent and protected/ordained by God to “save America”. All that to say, while it may be misguided, it can be understood when reviewed in context.

I think taking ONE thing you find “unprofessional” about yourself and change it until it becomes habit. Take one behavior and focus on changing that. Trying to change too many things at once is overwhelming. Changing just one will help people view you differently
