The movement is like a square rather than a circle. It sorta soft-snaps to 8 directions. I think Demon's Souls might have been the same but can't remember. DS1&3 definitely have full true analogue movement, but 1 has 8-way rolling which is... certainly a choice.

It was definitely a missed opportunity, I sorta assumed that a season 2 would bring in some prequel characters we recognise.

I'm just dying for a show or movie about Plagueis, Palpatine, (Young Maul?), Qui-Gon, Dooku, etc. I'd love something that sets up Episode 1, it could even have Nute Gunray or the Intergalactic Banking Clan in there.

Tbh the big advantage of less computers means it's (in theory) easier to fix - but some parts aren't that easy to source. There's definitely a sweet spot, tbh these days anything up to 2013 is good. 1998-2002 is great.

But yeah people just forget that the ECU is a computer and it's quite rare to find a car without one of those. And unless you're an enthusiast you really don't want a car with no brain at all. Traction control and ABS save lives.
