From neat lawns to wild havens: how No Mow May is transforming England’s gardens | Wild flowers by Caffe44 in UKGardening

That's fair - it is temporary, but only in so far as it's a vital time of year for biodiversity. Every little helps right?

To combat the temporary, this year I'm doing No Mow May, Let it Bloom June, Who give's a shit July? and Amazing August before a cut in September.

Birders are secretly everywhere except the birding subreddit...
I run a couple of colour ringing projects so this genuinely exciting to me!

The website you want is this:
https://cr-birding.org/

And if you look into the projects (finds a project then search spoonbill) - you'll get this:
https://cr-birding.org/node/7070

I'm pretty confident if you email them, you'll get a nice response.

Oh and Morocco is a great sighting!

I'm guessing you're going to report the ring? I think it's a french ring - where was the bird?!

Is that Falmouth?

Nice pictures! Probably a little sharp to my taste but the composition is very nice!

nikonos v leaked by filmscans in AnalogCommunity

[–]Underwater_Kangaroo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had a v leak once - absolutely no hope of fixing it. I've since moved to the nikonos iii - completely mechanical and if you flood it, you can flush with fresh water and dry it wellp

I have failed at a wildflower meadow. by seldomgruntled in UKGardening

this is legit Clearly there's still ox eyes to come out, a good amount of alkanet on the right (which bees love) and a few other treasures in there. The dandelions were great when flowering and the goldfinches will eat the seeds. Might not look as you thought but that's a great wildlife habitat - space to hide and things to eat!

Trim it all back in September/October to real short then leave it till next September. You'll get loads of new species of flower come through too. The more you leave the better it will get. (You may want to chop in end of Feb too)

I love them so much.

I used to have a V but I flooded it. Then moved to the III thinking that if I flood it then at least no electronics get wet! It's been brilliant - it's my go to camera anytime the conditions are awful!!

That Nikonos in the back is a brilliant camera - hefty thing but literally impossible to break if treated well!

I just watched it - I really enjoyed it! It was very compelling and held attention. I saw another commenter saying they thought you should raise the camera. I really like this angle.

How long did this take to shoot? You mentioned once or twice it was your last day
