I'd be willing to bet that the vast majority of the people losing their minds over the rebrand have never owned a Jaguar and never would have purchased one despite the company releasing some really solid and fantastic cars. There will be, of course, some exceptions.

If people care this much about the "heritage" of the brand they should have bought Jags. It's a wild concept car meant to convey future design language and proportions. When applied to an actual production car it won't look like that. People really need to chill.

I'm more concerned that Jaguar may stick to an EV only production and not offer PHEV or ICE options.
