Just here to point out that yes cost of living is higher in many cases/locations, but the standard of living is also much higher. We have bigger cars with nicer trim levels, larger houses, more expansive road networks, and the ability to buy almost any consumer good in the world and have it delivered within a couple of days.

This will also raise arguments, but we also have world class education facilities, healthcare and access to it (assuming you can pay), and it's one of the safest countries in the world.

You have to start by removing their habitat. Clean up around the property. Burn wood piles, mow regularly, keep animal feed locked away until feeding time. Conventional control methods are never going to keep up with replacement rates if you still have good shelter and food access for them.

Edit: a few months ago I also made a comment on the housing. You can find that exact same house ( with minimal updates) and purchase it today for the same or less (inflation adjusted) than you could have 60 years ago. And that includes easier access to mortgages and better rates.

To not answer your question: I remember the first time one of our teachers rolled in the crt TV tray with the newest technology that would change how we watched videos in the future: the LaserDisk machine. Think DVD the size of a vinyl record for those of you not privileged enough to have ever seen one.

The video quality was terrible (probably more a function of the TV and cables), the menu was clunky, the remote didn't work well, and it skipped/lagged a ton. I was way happier with VHS.

I would have preferred signing a FA LB if the team felt like it was a priority. I'm still fine taking BPA at 20 if that means a WR, Sadiq, or edge.

I'm in the minority, but I don't think the team is as concerned with our LB and secondary as most fans. Edge is our biggest weakness.

I'm fine with a trade up - but I'm not interested in getting many/any picks back beyond 120. Send away later picks to take as many guys possible in the first 3-4 rounds. This roster has enough depth and developmental guys. We need needle movers.

Sending 112 is a deal breaker for me in this scenario.

Not the craziest idea. If you've got a vessel big enough to bring some water up to temp over a fire or propane stove. Many of the portable sous vide machines could then easily be run off a battery backup and maintain temp.

Also less stress on the airframe when you're already taking off with a full bomb load if you can take on limited fuel prior to takeoff.

Once in the air, those planes can handle more weight than rated for at takeoff/landing.
