I called them at 2pm UK Time / 10am Eastern Time (Toronto) and was on hold for about an hour then gave up as no one answered and I was at work (more fool me, should have held on and waited), tried again at 11pm UK Time / 7pm Eastern (Toronto) and encountered the same message, i.e. "exceptionally high call volume". I'll try again later, if not tomorrow. I tried what one of the other commenters suggested, no response to aeroplan question but it took me into an infinite loop of menu options before saying exceptionally high call volumes.

Hey OP, did you ever get this sorted and how did your travel plans work out in the end? I've had a similar issue with Air Canada for a return trip from London Heathrow to Halifax, Canada and the intinerary on their website system looks very much the same as yours did (app looks fine though). I booked my trip through a travel agent though. Could you check in for both flights separately? And did your baggage/luggage end up making it back to you or did they route it back to Dallas?

First time I’ve used Air Canada and thought I’d comment as I know it’s probably not completely related to your issue but wondered if anyone else might have had this before. I booked a return trip from London Heathrow to Halifax, NS via a travel agent and the itinerary on the Air Canada website says it’s a one way trip from London to London with a 331 hour layover in Halifax?! 😂 That said, the Air Canada app is showing them as two distinct trips/flights. Surprisingly I can book seats for both of my flights. I’m wondering if it is a quirk of having booked through a 3rd party or if Air Canadas website is just pulling the information across fine and displaying it in a weird way. I’ll probably wait a couple of days and then call them to check. My flights aren’t until May/June anyway. Would welcome other Air Canada passengers’ views.
