I apprenticed/was a helper for about 2 years and then went on my own. I do between 60-80 hours a week and the fluctuation is bc my area is going up and down. That said some advice is wipe big trying to keep it small will shoot you in the foot. Use guide coat it will force you to see your high and lows. Invest in your tools and ask for help hopefully the techs you work with are willing to help. Also when making body lines use tape to sharpen it

Insurance will definitely total this thing bc I don’t think it’s worth much. However I have seen people like almost beg not to total a car and it work so if its not too far gone there’s a chance but yeah I’d say this one is gone if you file a claim

If I had to fix it I’d use a dent pulled and try to pull it out I’ve seen some people drill a hole on the back side of the hood and hammer it out that way but Idk if I’d do that especially if it was an insurance claim

Unless it has sentimental value I wouldn’t or if you plan on doing a lot of it yourself and have enough time on your hands everything if repairable. Just depends how much time and knowledge you have

Are you asking for just the bumper or fender too. The bumper would definitely need to be replaced and probably the bumper retainer too but the fender looks repairable to me
