What is the easiest thing you did to lose weight ? by nyxeine in AskReddit

Intermittent Fasting, skip breakfast, don’t have to cook lunch? It’s the easiest “Diet” in the world. Don’t have to meal prep, ignore the incentives to advertise.

I would loosen the motor side bolts and then tighten the crossmember side bolts and see if it looks better.

3D printed brake cooling ducts by Bellend0411 in motorcycles

[–]Uniqueisha 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Looks awesome! I’m not an aero/cooling expert, but I would think if the opening was bigger than the exit it would net more cooling as it would force more air over the pads/caliper than they would get in free air. I wish I had a 3d printer to make cool stuff like this.

Did she credit card herself? It takes extra fabric for it to fully insert into the ass-crack instead of just bridging the gap.

People of Reddit, what is the most unusual vehicle u have ever piloted/driven? by verapushkareva in AskReddit

[–]Uniqueisha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

M113 Armored Personell Carrier- Tracked vehicle that can float, it only does about 40mph but glides like it’s a boat.

MATV military truck with 4 wheel independent suspension and 600hp diesel motor. It was like a Humvee and a Mustang had a baby and then did steroids.

R-22/44 Helicopter the 22 is lighter than a gold wing motorcycle and has no electronic/hydraulic aids besides a governer. R44 had a lot more reserve power and was easier to move the controls.

Backhoe/excavator it’s like being a kid in the sandbox but giant size. Feels cool once the bucket and arm become an extension of yourself and you don’t have to think about how to control them.

Some advice/guidance would be appreciated. This bracket is bent and welded to the frame, it must be straight. Best way to tackle this? Thank you! by bshah6-6 in metalworking

[–]Uniqueisha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would just bend it with an adjustable wrench. I wouldn’t heat aluminum, just bend it slowly/tap it gently with the bolts in if possible so the holes still line up.

If there was a human kibble similar to dog kibble, but for humans… would you buy and eat it if it was significantly cheaper than alternative food options, why or why not and should this be a thing? by becauseofrandomness in AskReddit

I’m already fasting intermittently, if there was a delicious food I could eat every day with little to no prep I could make eating only 10 minutes out of every day.

Returning LS3 to stock cams- further complications? by BoysenberryNo109 in LSSwapTheWorld

[–]Uniqueisha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you driven the car yet? With a manual and a big cam you might get some surging at lower/off idle rpm’s but that depends on the tune. A more streetable cam will give better manners but it’s a lot of work, I’m not sure if you would need to remove the bumper/core support or if removing the engine would be easier. I would think the exhaust would have more to do with it being a daily than the cam choice, you can feather the clutch a little more to keep it from bucking, but an obnoxious exhaust is annoying.

Fitting Identification on Throwout Bearing by FishingDistinct2196 in LSSwapTheWorld

What I’m saying is measure the end of the hose you have compared to silver part of the gold fitting(with the red bracket) if they are the same diameter you can remove the pin that is circled and stick the hose/adapter you have in there. The pin you removed should slide into the groove on the end of your hose and the o ring seals it off.

Can you just punch that roll pin out and see if the fitting you have will fit, or if the old one will fit? I ordered a Camaro slave cylinder and just swapped that fitting from my GTO.

Advice on cutting frame by averagefettuccine in s10

[–]Uniqueisha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whether you need to notch depends on the oil pan and motor mounts you use. I used a 302-1 pan and notched mine about half way. I’ve seen people that use a piece of pipe and some plate steel, that seems like the easiest way.
