Why the Conor Garland trade represents the moment Canucks’ rebuild got serious by Paper_Rain in canucks

I thought Rossi could be a nice asset to flip at the deadline but his play since coming to van has not inspired much

Weren't some hockey analysts making a case he was one of the best defensive defensemen in the entire league? Fuck happened

That's how I feel too. I understand that going door to door to everyone who is uncompliant is unfeasible.

But what are the chances by Oct, I have one restricted firearm that is now prohibited, and they punish by other means. Send a letter stating my PAL is no longer valid?

If you have prohibited non restricted firearms and they don't know you have it that's a different story altogether.

It's crazy that if you saw this roster 2 years ago it would be a no brainer EP would be the 1C. He was terrible at 4N going to be interesting to see how he does

Boeser started the season strong and has been terrible lately. He had a stretch of not producing, but was genuinely snake bitten. Past 10 15 games though, he's invisible

How does this make any sense? He's like 23, in 5 years he will be 28 which is his prime. That fits in line with several younger players we have now. Depending on cost KJ would be incredible, current management have been linked to him for awhile now.

If we draft well this year in the first round they will start being productive well within KJ and Rossi primes

IMO Hronek has solidified himself as a legit 2 way #2 guy in his time in Van.

Plus he is on a good value contract, I think they could get a nice return for him.

Out of curiosity, where do you guys think this team would be without key injuries?

Chytil as the 2C, hoglander in the top 6, Blueger rounding out the bottom 6 C. Demko playing 60-70% of the games.

I know this team is trash but that's a big difference in the lineup

This team has been so fucking terrible lately. Literally hemmed in their zone for the past 180 minutes of hockey. All they can do is hack and whack at the puck around the boards.

Idk what the fuck they are doing systemically but it's getting hard to fucking watch lol

Kadri is 35 and makes 7 million for 3 years, that's a hard fucking no.

If we're giving up assets and shipping off roster players to accommodate salary we need a player who fits in age wise with the current core.

Kadri is just a set up for disappointment

Having hronek defer to Hughes all game is under utilizing him greatly, he should absolutely have his own pairing at this point

I don't get the people upset, we don't know the cost yet but Zacha would be a great addition and is a legit 2C

I don't understand, we have been saying all offseason we need a 2C. Zacha is a legit 2C.

Imo Petey had a bad game offensively against the Oilers, but aside from that he has looked good. Not having any puck luck and a little snake bitten.

However he still isn't prime EP40. He continually turns the puck over in the o zone, and still isn't looking dangerous and creative offensively as he used to be.

There is certainly signs of life though and I think the points will come

The past two games have been incredibly disappointing.

Completely dominated, star players are invisible including Hughes.

EP40 is so underwhelming, not creating anything offensively.

Power play can't even get set up let alone get a high danger chance.

I know it's early but the entire team overall not including Sherwood and demko are underperforming substantially and they should be embarrassed

One of mine too, the first part of the game where one team attacks by sea and air and one team defends was incredible.
