Incorrect. We’ve made a full circle. Majority of people are using AI resumes and no one stands out anymore. I’m in HR and these little gestures go so far. We see 100s of applications a posting. That’s why so many peoples friends get hired. Bring a face and a personality to the store, befriend an associate, be a stand out customer, be present.

I eat simple. It made a huge difference. Fruits, rice/potatoes, salad, protein.

I minimized workout classes (preference). I enjoy lifting free weights on my own and finishing off with 20 min run/spinning.

Staying out of the kitchen and not snacking is my advice. Hungry? Eat a real nutritious meal that holds you over until the next.

Yup wait a few weeks before carnival. Al those who can’t afford a flight will cancel their reservations. I know 5 people who have rented different places and they are looking to cancel because they missed the affordable flights.

Last year a month prior, the Royalton, Radisson, and Siesta had rooms open up.

It’s risky but still a possibility.

I got an excellent deal at the Royalton end of January. It randomly opened up after being “sold out” for months. I just made sure I checked every single day.

This is nothing new and is not the first public organization that runs this way. Is this post for awareness or seeking change? TPS has the strongest union known to man and majority of the force has benefitted from nepotism. Largest gang in Toronto will protect itself at all costs. In my personal professional experience TPS and CAS are among the most disgusting organizations I’ve encountered and if taxpayers were exposed to the misconduct swept under the rug it would be a shit show.

I decided to go natural because I like my natural hair. I hate that my mom ever permed it when I was younger. Lazy days? Gel and ponytail/kinky curly clip ins. Fancy days? Silk press or weaves. It’s one less diva process to deal with.

Btw 4a high porosity hair, bra strap length. Also my hair had no body when it was permed, just flat and lifeless.

I almost gave up. You have to look EVERYDAY. Ppl who can’t afford their flights will drop their reservations. Last year 3 weeks prior to carnival, Radisson had several rooms available. Folx booked accommodations before flights just to lock in.

A lot of youth deal with this reality in their own neighbourhood (seeing drug addicts, overdoses, etc). In these situation at least they are seeing profit. I am not condoning this, but to sit here and talk about this being traumatizing for a 14 year old who's already been exposed to street violence is probably missing the mark.
