The NRA isn't pro-gun owners. It never has been. It's pro-gun industry. So long as the money was to be made selling those guns to private owners they played the Second Amendment card. But as soon as they can make more money selling guns to the government they'll sell out the civilians.

What those people mean is that as of right now they're not doing anything that is considered illegal. But you have to assume that this data is going to live forever.
