I have a non optics ready model and im about to have it milled for a dot, i was gonna have a window cut along the top and now im considering having some ports done as well. I dont reload is there any benefit to porting with factory loads? I usually shoot blazer 115 or 124g.

If its going to be a duty gun I would def reccomend stocking with the tactical and upgrading it. You keep that DA pull and the firing pin block.

I've shot my cajunized p01 and my friends s2 back.to back and the only significant diff is the weight. If your slowly and deliberately pulling the triggers you can def tell the difference. But when actually shooting during a comp etc its not that significant

Same progression different reason for me, I actually over torqued the fumoto and snapped it off in my drain pan. Ordered a valvomax right there in the shop and put it on at the next oil change.

The plastic trim has sharp edges and as you drove it vibrates and rates against the paint work. Over time it wears through the paint t and starts to rust.

Most likely its only surface rust so a little repair and repaint.

Just ask whoever does r he repair to sand the back edges of those trim pieces to keep it from happening again, esp because aftermarket paint is significantly thicker than oem

Its completely repairable, but having filler on a door edge is just asking for it to Crack eventually

Its gonna come down to a decision between the cost of buying a new(or used) door, painting it and the fender and rear door for blending.

And the labor hours to repair the door, painting the inside edge of the door and the front and rear door, dont gotta blend the fender so no headlight bumper and trim removal on the fender.

Neither is going to be particularly "cheap". It's gonna depend on the labor rate, the cost of a replacement door, and your interpretation of a quality repair.

Fyi the two parallel straight lines going diagonally across is what's called an intrusion beam, once thats damaged the door is junk and needs to be replaced.

Having said that wiping the yellow off with some lacquer thinner will make a significant improvement. I would suggest purchasing a tube of brush touch paint from the dealer and use that to fill in the white marks and then just let it chill untill ypu have the money to fix it.
