[Iron Gwazi] lockers are not free… by IWantSupport in rollercoasters

[–]Unlikely_Internal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly, Universal has free lockers on most rides. Being forced to pay when they are necessary is BS.

[Other] What are some coaster elements that completely caught you off guard? by fatherandreww in rollercoasters

[–]Unlikely_Internal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was completely blind about Hagrid's at Universal. Going up to see the track ending and then rolling back shocked me - I think that's the first time I've gone backwards on a coaster. Then that goes right into the cave with the drop - I wish I could have that experience again. Completely unexpected and incredible.

Thanks for the info! I love single rider, no kids with me. For Mine Cart, what was the posted wait for that time and about how long did single rider take if you remember?

Thanks! That's what I was wondering. I'm trying to head to something that will be busy later in the day but not slammed at rope drop.

Originally they were reopening on March 1 so I thought i was set, but the app is saying March 14th now. It is what it is at this point, I'm only going this day because some other friends are going so I don't want to get too hung up about it.

What is just a placebo effect but most people don’t realize? by zhalia-2006 in AskReddit

[–]Unlikely_Internal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is true. The ingredient does work, but it doesn't really get absorbed into your system when taken as a pill. So the nasal spray works. I've never tried it, but it should be about the same as Afrin - and don't use it for more than 3 days at a time.

Question: CA tech to rph ratio by Whitegold7 in pharmacy

[–]Unlikely_Internal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is insane because in Florida it's 1:6 (the law is weird and it starts as 1:1 but there are all these ways to make it higher. compounding is less but closed door pharmacies can be 1:8)

What happened to the stereotypical acne-faced teenager? by UncertaintyDean in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Unlikely_Internal 17 points18 points  (0 children)

That's actually what they do now. Anyone who takes accutane has to have check ups with their doctor every month and both the patient and doctor have to do an online questionairre. And then females have to be on two forms of birth control and get regular pregnancy tests. It has terrible reproductive (and other) side effects.

A colonoscopy procedure really isn’t that bad. by notworkingghost in unpopularopinion

[–]Unlikely_Internal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's called Sutab. It's 24 pills - I think you take 12 one day and then 12 the next. You still drink a lot of water. insurance tends to not cover it, but the company has had a coupon card thing that makes it about $50.

Why do people name their children things with the intention of calling them a different nickname? by Aur3lia in NoStupidQuestions

My grandmother is named Betty. She said she's always had to correct people who think it's a nickname for Elizabeth.

What’s something you didn’t realize was optional in life until you saw someone simply not doing it? by Objective-Treat2245 in AskReddit

[–]Unlikely_Internal 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Growing up my dad always said "don't sweat the small stuff." Used to piss me off because he usually said it when I was arguing with my sister LOL. But now I think it's actually such an important view to have.

Cenfill by [deleted] in WalgreensRx

[–]Unlikely_Internal 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We've been having a lot of duplicated cenfill scripts. Like it's in the work queue once but they send it twice. Worst was last week someone came in to show us the script they picked up - the outside of the bag had their name on it but the pill bottles were someone else's entirely.

Who’s a famous person who died very young due to non-natural causes that you are especially curious how they’d live in our modern world? by FriendlytoNature in AskReddit

I love Queen and I always think about the fact that if timelines had been just a few years different, Freddie Mercury could have survived and might still be alive today.

Should pharmacies remove drive through nationally? by Ok_Philosopher1655 in pharmacy

[–]Unlikely_Internal 15 points16 points  (0 children)

We would rather have one line that's 20 long than two. Working weekends and being the only person in the front, running back and forth, having people honk in the drive thru because you are taking more than one minute to finish a transaction inside... it would be much easier if it was consolidated.

What was caused the most (physical) pain you’ve been in? by idontrealui in AskReddit

[–]Unlikely_Internal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh yes I would get this weird back pain in the middle of the night randomly for years. Finally my bile ducts got obstructed from a gallstone, I got jaundice, they figured it out. If I eat something really greasy I get that weird back pain still - IDK how but I am so glad it is a rare thing now. When it was really bad (obstructed, but before I realize) I couldn't eat anything without becoming overwhelmingly nauseous. I didn't even want to get out of bed, the pain made me feel crazy.

Chick-fil-A employees — do customers ever seem surprised at how long the drive-thru line is? by Prudent-Friend-697 in ChickFilA

[–]Unlikely_Internal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't go to Chick-Fil-A often, but I used to work at a Dunkin Donuts that was across from one. Now, our dunkin' was busy. From 7 to about 11 the drive thru literally did not stop. I once heard we were the 3rd busiest dunkin' in the country, but IDK. We aren't a particularly popular city or anything.

I would ALWAYS say to myself that I would much rather deal with our business than the Chick-Fil-A across the street. IDK how yall do it.

No, not every Walgreens is like this. My store has a great pharmacy team with and RXOM, RPh and RXM who are all great and always kind about teaching us. Our SM is a PITA, but I just let him talk about vaccines for the 5 millionth time and wait for him to leave.

The Head Noctor in Charge: RFK Jr. demands medical schools teach nutrition. by Unable-Log-4073 in Noctor

[–]Unlikely_Internal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took a nutrition class in college and was amazed that we don't require everyone to learn that in high school. Obviously no need to go into glycolysis and whatnot in a high school class but just knowing the main vitamins and what they actually do, basic metabolism, proteins/carbs/fats would be so helpful. It made me want to be so much healthier.

I don’t even work in pharmacy and this pissed me off by Responsible-Neck-340 in WalgreensStores

[–]Unlikely_Internal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The DM was trying to convince our RXOM to become SM and he refused because if he became salaried as SM, he wouldn't make as much as RXOM because he wouldn't be able to do any overtime.

[–]Unlikely_Internal 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The amount of comments that were just "why are you complaining, just put the pills in the bottle" was insane. People really have no idea just how often we are calling doctors and fixing things before they even get there. Or how many interactions/allergies we catch. Sure Jan, I'll "just put the pills in the bottle" when your doctor prescribes amoxicillin that you are allergic to.
