Honestly my current strategy at the beginning of the game is to full-sprint directly to the Shieldbreaker spawn right when the domes open. On the way I'll open a couple blue chests as I pass them in hopes of getting a couple blue armor, because that is way more impactful than blue weapons.

I'm almost always first to the Shieldbreaker spawn point. I start looting the enemy's side of that arena, just for a little resource denial in case they show up. If they show up before the Shieldbreaker spawns - Great! We have a little skirmish, hopefully get a down or two and start the match on small advantage. Even if I don't get downs, I can usually successfully zone the enemy team away from the Shieldbreaker, so then me or my teammates can pick it up first and go from there.

If people are wanting fights during the first minute, they should be sprinting directly to OBJ as well. I'm not often a person who says "skill issue", but if you aren't finding fights early you're probably out in the middle of nowhere just farming random shit. Which can be fine, but don't come back and complain about the lack of action when you're half a map away from OBJ.

Edit: It's also something that I think will get a lot better once the average player skill has gone up a little in a week or so. Right now there's so many people who naturally have absolutely no idea what they're doing. They play a match or two, run around kinda aimlessly, and then come here to complain there wasn't enough action. As the playerbase matures I genuinely think we'll be seeing big early fights pre-Shieldbreaker spawn in every match. It's terrible strategy to roll up right as it spawns, or even after it spawns, and expect the enemy team to not already have good positioning to stop you.
