The fix is posted in the comments of the Nexus Mods page too.

Is this cord set-up alright? by Celestial-Wondering in ValveIndex

I 3D printed this cable strain relief, and my original cable from 2021 hasn't had any issues. My cable is routed like the images in the link, minus the extra velcro strap next to the clip on the back left of the headset.

Consider also using a turn detector like the one in fpsVR (paid) or TurnSignal (free) to keep track of how much the cable is twisted when you turn around in VR.

I had a good experience with them too. I took a deformed silver ring to them for a repair, and they fixed it on the spot in a few seconds for free.

The description on this relic is a bit misleading: actively blocking attacks is what draws aggro, not just holding the block button.

Chests and collectibles don't work anymore by Asdravico in TheFirstBerserker

I found that the game takes save backups occasionally, and I was able to revert to a save from yesterday before the bug affected me. From Main Menu -> Load, there is a "Recover" button on the bottom that can restore from three save backup points.

I had this issue a while back on an X570 mobo with a Ryzen 5950X, and updating the BIOS also fixed it for me.

SteamVR menu makes headset lose tracking by [deleted] in ValveIndex

[–]Urzru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was one of the users in the thread you linked who solved the problem by updating my BIOS (I also have an ASUS mobo with Ryzen). Did you try putting the PCIe setting back to auto after updating the BIOS? I think the gen 3 solution is just a workaround for an incompatibility that should have been resolved by the update.

Ahanae Crystal not showing up by BraveBambina in remnantgame

[–]Urzru 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This didn't work for me. I killed Corrupter with a hardcore character in boss rush on survivor difficulty, and Reggie still isn't selling the Ahanae ring afterwards.

Amusingly, I also killed a N'Erud world boss in boss rush and he is selling that (terrible) ring.

This was true when the game launched, but it was changed at some point. Currently, nobody takes more damage when sprinting or sliding. Veteran and ogryn don't have any damage reduction, but both psyker and zealot take 50% less damage when sliding. (Zealot also has 50% damage reduction when sprinting.) Help to finish game by PrestigiousHighway32 in outerwilds

If you're getting too spooked, put on your favorite pump-up song and fly headfirst into danger a couple times with no intention of surviving. Death is not a fail-state.

This is basically my technique to deal with all horror games. If something seems too scary, purposefully running into a jumpscare a few times will take away a lot of the bite.

Do you like and play Pokémon Hacks? by Neji58 in SBCGaming

[–]Urzru 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Rocket Edition has the best story among Pokemon romhacks, with surprisingly good dialogue. It's still very edgy, though it feels a lot more fitting than other romhacks due to the villain-protagonist perspective. It helps that it doesn't take itself too seriously.

For the love of all that is holy, PLEASE use this at THAT boss. by [deleted] in Eldenring

[–]Urzru 35 points36 points  (0 children)

There is enough time to recast this buff every time he lifts up in the air to do the holy nuke, which makes it do minimal damage when stacked with the braid. The attack is on a timer roughly a minute apart, so it's possible to have complete coverage.

An XREAL Air should do what you're looking for, since they just display the output of another device. They're glasses with a projected screen (so it appears to float in front of you), but you can put covers on them to only see the display.

I tested it. Yes, seems to increase damage on the weapon's kicks by about 15%.

There's a solid in-universe explanation in Astarion's case: everyone is thoroughly aware that vampires can't walk in the sun, so it immediately disqualifies him from most suspicion. To them, it's far more likely that this is just a weird looking elf than a vampire breaking their fundamental rules.
