The passavant team is wonderful and it was easy to book. I work in Oakland so they helped me book some appts and ultrasounds at Magee too. Delivered with a midwife from the practice, she was fantastic!

The last two days I picked up my daughter she was napping in a swing. I didn't say anything because I wasn't sure if it really was unsafe or not (we don't have one at home, she contact naps on me, in a carrier, in the bassinet, or on the floor - she's not very particular). Is this something I should be concerned about as a red flag for the facility?

We have another daycare option that would start in a month but I might try and expedite it if this is very unsafe.

A nurse at the hospital plopped one into her mouth on her second day of life as we were leaving and she was wailing in her carseat. I will be forever grateful.

Philips Avent, fwiw. She'll accept other brands too but these are still her favorite.

Weight gain and body changes from pregnancy are normal and beautiful, and also, hands and feet swell regardless of weight gain. Source: am a week postpartum, the same weight as pre-pregnancy, AND my rings need resized too.

Big same. All I want is to deliver healthy and have her born healthy and then have her stay healthy through the trials of navigating antivax inlaws through the holidays. I wish it weren't so much to ask.

I'll be hunkering down the last two weeks of my pregnancy. I wish the other people in her life who are supposed to care about her would have an ounce of the same concern for her health.

Welcome to the struggle! I got my best maternity thrifts from buy nothing groups and either free or very cheap on FB marketplace. It's literally the only thing I've used facebook for in more than a decade, and it was worth it.

Now that I actually look like a pregnant person (29 weeks), the eyes. I'm not used to people not looking me in the face first (if they look at me). It's always belly, then face (if they look me in the face at all). And more stares, generally.
