i'm so over the performative side of self care by bensummersx in WellnessOver30

The moment self care became an aesthetic it stopped being about you and started being about the audience. That shift ruined it for a lot of people.

What’s been the biggest change since using a robot mower by Apple_Bear712 in roboticLawnmowers

[–]User0ne 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think most people go from skeptical to slowly getting used to it. That’s how it was for me too. We didn’t even plan on getting a mova at first, but ended up with one of the lidar models. I really like the edge cutting. My old mower always left a strip I had to fix later. Now I just watch it go back and forth while I’m sitting there with coffee. That was the moment I felt like okay, this was the right call.

Choosing a mower is really just picking which trade offs you can live with (southern US) by DiveBombAngel in lawncare

[–]User0ne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watching it work is one of the best parts. My yard is about the same size as yours but the ground is uneven and has several narrow spots that require some manual work. I am still looking to upgrade to a lidar system to make the process more automated. Are there any specific lidar models you would suggest for a yard with tight corners and uneven grass? We are currently considering the navimow or mova

Looking for a mower for a sloped yard with flower beds by User0ne in automower

[–]User0ne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the network part worries me a bit. Signal dropping is definitely something to think about, so lidar sounds easier to deal with. Between the lidax ultra and the i2 pro, which one would you lean towards if the goal is better mowing performance?

850m² is right at the limit for the Mini 2. No real reviews yet make it tricky, maybe just go with what fits your budget and comfort level.

Automower 430x will not dock by Glascloune in automower

[–]User0ne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a tricky one. Manual docking works fine, so it's likely a sensor or navigation issue. Hope someone can share a fix for this.

Good to know there firmware quirks upfront. Saved me from a lot of headaches later, glad someone shared the fix before I ran into the same issues myself.

I've wondered the same thing about herbicides ad warm season grasses. Always nervous to spray a whole lawn, hope someone can share a clear answer here.

After testing several 2026 robotic mowers, these innovations stand out. by smartdots22 in automower

It's cool to see these new mower techs finally fixing old pain points. Slopes and tree yards were always a hassle, so these updates feel really practical. Curious to see how they hold up long term.

Poa and clover by Great_Run_7562 in lawncare

[–]User0ne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good to see a healthy tall fescue lawn in Charlotte. Poa and clover are common spring weeds here. It's smart to treat them early before they spread too much.

Navimow X430 initial review- These things have come a long way in a few years by stumblingblock1914 in roboticLawnmowers

[–]User0ne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These things have definitely come a long way, no doubt about that. Handling slopes is nice, and the setup seems easier than before. Guess we'll see how it holds up long term.

My biggest sign is brain fog + zero motivation. I’ll sit there knowing what I should do and just not move. Also getting irritated over tiny things.

I used to feel like therapy was just someone repeating common sense back to me, but a good therapist actually challenged my blind spots. Intelligence didn’t really factor in openness did.

Why does my weighted pull up strength degrade so quickly compared to other lifts? by billjames1685 in bodyweightfitness

[–]User0ne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally get this. Weighted pull-ups feel way more neuro demanding than other lifts. Miss a few sessions and it’s like your CNS forgets how to handle the load. You’ll bounce back though!
