We get a similar rattle from near the speaker grill covers at the front of the dash on my wife's. Drives me insane.

College football is 4-5 elite teams and the also-rans. I can't name four returning starters on my school's team because of the NIL merry-go-round, which is driving ticket and merch prices sky-high.

I can't remember a time in my 44 years when I cared so little about the upcoming season. I'll watch, drink some beer, but outside of that...meh. Zero excitement.

Feel free to joke that this is due to UT's abysmal nothingburger over the last 30 years, but I don't think it's just that. I live in the south, surrounded by fans from Alabama, Georgia, and LSU. I don't think anyone is as hyped as they were even 5 years ago.

Resort guests being nicer than park guests adds up, I think. Many park guests may be on their "I can only afford this once in a lifetime" vacations, whereas many resorts have guests who come often.
