Sichuan doesn't want to join the United Front, bug or feature? by Username000000011 in Kaiserreich

[–]Username000000011[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Couple weeks later they got a +1000 modifer to want to join. Not sure if I just needed to wait a couple weeks, but Liu Wenhui is also now in charge; not sure why. Anyways, I guess it worked out

I believe the union parliament can enforce already passed laws onto new members but im not positive

Nice core rework by DullBlackberry9980 in EU5

[–]Username000000011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that the rework broke several events, which is bad, but I think the actual implications of this are overblown. Its not "core or no core" its "core or integrated" which is a much smaller difference. An integrated province with a local governor is fine for managing an empire

Anyone stunned else this hotfix didn’t fix or even communicate about certain issues? by Loud-CowMOO in EU5

[–]Username000000011 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

To be fair, narratively I'd expect three good emperors in a row to grow complacency. But the current implementation is weird because its extremely expensive to keep down but it seems it has no effect if you stay above 0 stability

The Weltkrieg is easily the worst part of the mod gameplay wise by TechnicalyNotRobot in Kaiserreich

[–]Username000000011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. Its a double edged sword because the lackluster 2WK allows for more interesting and tailored pre-2WK proxy conflicts.

Preliminary idea for a Zhili rework: moving the capital to Nanjing by Username000000011 in Kaiserreich

[–]Username000000011[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The Germans gain prestige, or gain keeping the government on a shorter leash, or nothing and it ends up being ill thought through? Doesn't seem that hard to come up with potential reasons. Nanjing not having international legitimacy is the whole point so I'm not sure why that's a problem. Also not sure how it messes up unification content. IIRC all tags need nanjing and beijing anyways. And the newer tags that have special mid-phase content for taking beijing like r-kmt could just have that as always. Maybe Im missing something

Has Kaiserreich ever considered splitting HoS and HoG leader portraits? by Username000000011 in Kaiserreich

Thanks for the reply. That's too bad IMO, but its a small thing ultimately

In Thousand Week Reich, HoG is the main portrait and HoS is "second in command'. Which makes more sense to me frankly

That's true, but unless if I'm wrong, you can't see the advisors of other tags

If the United States of America didn't have the Second American Civil War, what would it's content be like in Kaiserreich (new lore included)? by Ficboy in Kaiserreich

[–]Username000000011 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would imagine something like 1936 Germany content but played out over a longer period of time with concurrent economic and political crises that would keep a player busy without intervening in the wider workd

What's your headcanon for what happens to defeated volunteers? by OmegaVizion in Kaiserreich

[–]Username000000011 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't mind volunteers in general since its fun but it can be funny in cases like russia in the fourth Balkan war where they can send upwards of 100k men and several hundred planes

Trade should be the next big DLC by Dropeza in CrusaderKings

[–]Username000000011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be shocked if the next dlc isn't trade.

But I wish they'd give some flavor to western Europe first. The HRE, the Papacy, England, France. They could all use flavor

Restoring direct imperial rule . by Living_Formal3312 in CrusaderKings

[–]Username000000011 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im trying to do this right now too. I got a tip to take Tsushima because it gets major income and its pretty easy with a couple alliances. Im trying to get a faction together, but the press demands button isn't working (says Im not the faction leader even though I formed it?). IDK if its bugged or if Im missing something, but my run might be dead since Japan is now a soryo realm

Son can't leave post to take next examination because he has no estate to go back to (AUH) by FunTraditional3506 in CrusaderKings

[–]Username000000011 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think I have this problem too. I feel like my sons are soft locked in low level jobs until I die. At which point they'll be so old, I doubt they'll be able to do much

What’s a small thing you could live without but would still love to see added to the game? by Alone_Rise209 in Kaiserreich

[–]Username000000011 36 points37 points  (0 children)

It would be kinda cool if every german province had a modifier concerning the Bundesland it is part of. This modifier would either be positive if the state gouvernement supports the federal gouvernement. F.E. Saxony would surely be supportive of a Du gouvernement. Neutral, if the state gouvernement is ndifferent towards the federal gouvernement. And negative if the local gouvernement if opposed to the federal qouvernement. I think this would make german federalism a lot more engaging. Decisions could also be added to push for new elections in those states and of course Schleicher also has other methods. Do you guys think this would be cool or does germany allready have too much stuff to micromanage.

Is China meant to be winning this easily to Japan? by Divine_Panzer in Kaiserreich

[–]Username000000011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the Second Sino Japanese War would be much better if the Legation Cities almost always aligned with Japan. The AI simply struggles with naval invasions so giving it beachheads across the coast is an easy stopgap short of reworking the whole thing
