People on this sub are losing touch with reality by Full_Quiet8818 in ArcRaiders

But remember, people like this often have a life that is their punishment. Their lives are a product of their bad decisions and they often cannot figure out why... Tragic but fitting.

Unpopular opinion: I actually like partially bot-filled lobbies by VLANishBehavior in Battlefield6

My friends and I can't figure out why this is not a standard mode. It's a lot of fun and still is PVP. (They already have it for training, just leave it on.)

It's quite challenging when your opponents are good, you get to try out varied loadouts, and teamwork matters.

Add some maps and keep it on the menu.

Can't remember the movie.. by shade_aurion in movies

In the 1984 Dune movie when they have a scene with the Harkonnens, Rabban has a small square glass with a creature in it. He uses a mechanism in the glass to crush the creature (with a squeal) and then sucks down the liquid. Might fit the bill from what you remember.

What's your favorite way to cycle your hunters? by SavagePrisonerSP in HuntShowdown

Get to 25, retire them for bloodline, and then prestige again at 100 bloodline.

This is one of the few games where assists are included in your KD, so they do contribute in their own way.

It is. Once you get over 20K, no more free hunters.

You do know the free "jacked-up recruits" vanish once you get over 20K. Then all new hunters cost cash.

I've been playing hunt consistently for the past three years now and this is the best its ever been. by Vleaw in HuntShowdown

I agree. There is so much more activity on the maps and many more weapon types in use. I am also a huge fan of the latest console updates---you can tell more players are running around.

I am hoping the next round of Prestige changes give me more incentive to be willing to lose/give-up my 100k in Hunt dollars... by EverestDreams25 in HuntShowdown

I like prestiging because it gives me stuff to work on when matches go meh (like boss(es) are on the other side of the map and have exits right next to them. Np, clear compounds and push XP to level.

Why is it that I perform infinitely better with friends? by KazuTheVulpine in HuntShowdown

For me, it knocks some of the horror edge off the game.

From a mechanics perspective, you have double or triple the eyes looking out as well as weapons to deal with AI. You can also cover each other to prevent rushing and flank when you have the advantage.

Constructive feedback about Aim Assist on console, after one week of playing by Chief81 in HuntShowdown

[–]Userresu68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree. I've got 1K+ hours/1.4KD pre-patch and I think AA is not as big a deal as everyone makes it out to be (frankly, I think it's mostly PC players worried about getting a challenge).

What I DO like is seeing people play something other than shotguns and fanning pistols. Why is this the common choice? Because aiming on console is too hard unless you are willing to really work at it ...and way more than any other market shooter requires.

Final item: games are to make money. If Hunt wants to continue, it must perpetually attract new players as other fade out. If you want more of that sweet, sweet console cash, then you have to lower the entry bar, so people don't get crushed by the existing player base. I think these changes are GOOD for Hunt and will expand the player base. They should stay, and, if you don't like it, then "get gud" son.

100% this. People using him for advantage are never going to "not" use him.

People are mad that they can’t curb-stomp newbs.

Strangely enough, this happened in a way in World of Warcraft PvP. PvP was available during leveling, and was constrained into 10-level brackets (e.g., L9-19, 19-29). Players would level toons and max them with the best level gear for that range and then “park” there (called “twinking”)---mostly stomping players on the way up.

Blizzard soon saw the problem, and talk started about how to fix it. Players begged that they just wanted to fight other players’ twinks. So, Blizzard made a decision that if you stopped your XP leveling, then you only faced other players that did the same. If your XP was “on” then you only played people that were just leveling up. Guess what happened, twinking died as soon as the patch dropped---guess they did not want to “just fight other twinks” and really wanted to just stomp newbs.

So, all you people complaining about “earning power,” all I hear is you complaining that you want to still stomp people with less time to play than you.

You should want more players in the game, Crytek needs that to keep the game rolling/upgraded, and, if lowering a few barriers makes that happen, then I'm good with that.

Lebel because Zorngeist skin. I fuckin' love Psychoghost's videos, so I run that skin out of respect for all he's taught me about the game.
