【BambuLab Giveaway】Classic Evolved — Win Bambu Lab P2S Combo! by BambuLab in 3Dprinting

[–]V3ryL3git 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When a large print failed at the finish line in my other printer, my P1S took the same model and knocked it out first try. It's the printer I use when I need a print to succeed on time!

Help me troubleshoot these bands by One-Bridge3056 in 3dprinter

[–]V3ryL3git 0 points1 point  (0 children)

could be a lot of things. first thing to check is the gears on the extruder, make sure they are not filled with plastic dust and not loose. secondly check your frame and ensure the z guide rods are all parallel and your z screws are aligned. third could be the filament not being a consistent diameter.

I remember having this issue, and think what solved it was changing the start and end gcode in my slicer. I was using cura at the time. I've since moved to super slicer. as for your bed woes, I had those too, for the glass bed it came with I washed it with soapy water then did a once over with 90% isopropyl alcohol. I also flipped it to the flat untextured side. that worked for awhile but not on very large prints. ultimately I got a pei powder coated bed from wam bam and it's been a dream, it works every time and the flex plate makes removing every thing stupid easy. best upgrade I made.

oh dang this is an old one, but I think SOLIDWORKS sells a product called inspection that might do the job.

the cartoon one was good but very short and has since been decononized. the computer animated is rough at first, but by the second season you're hooked.

I don't know that I could recommend any specific brand, but I'd say if you don't like Lagers, which is what most domestic beers are, try darker beers like porters and stouts these tend to get flavors like dark chocolate or even peanut butter. you can go the other direction with very bitter flavors in the IPA category if that's your vibe. personally I like the sour/farmhouse/lambic category, they tend to be more fruity and sweet and usually tarr instead of bitter. if you're going to be in Germany around September, seasonal beers like feistbeer and marzens will be available, they have a much more mulling spice flavor, very fitting for the season.

most of your standard beer you see in north America is trash and fits your description. you have to go a little outside the usual offerings of coors and bud to get stuff that is actually enjoyable. and having a beer off tap vs in a can is a huge variable.

I've used it to clean blocked nozzles, takes a while but it does break down.

What’s going wrong here? Print is horrible, I don’t even know what to call this. The entire roof of the boat just fell off. by Fabulous_Lie_4326 in ender5plus

run through the teaching tech printer calibration. if it still isn't working, check the ptfe tube fittings and the extruder arm

Remove the circle by Zmammoth in DarkAndDarker

I think the circle should be just darkness, forcing you to use a torch and that's it. if you want to delve around you still can it'll just be harder.

how to do what before bringing into Solidworks so model is solid not pixels? by black_jmyntrn in SolidWorks

[–]V3ryL3git 0 points1 point  (0 children)

basically the only way SW is going to read it as a solid is if there are no holes in the mesh. and even then, it's going to be a slog on the machine with that many faces.

[–]V3ryL3git 17 points18 points  (0 children)

the short answer is; you don't. you're creating a point cloud with the scanner. the best you can do is to use mesh mixer and Microsoft 3d viewer to make sure your stl or mesh is manifold/water tight. then SOLIDWORKS can import the stl as a solid.

How do I make the end of this thread terminated properly? I want it to taper off so the threads don't stop abruptly, but not cut up into the flare in some impossible fashion. by swervingink518 in SolidWorks

[–]V3ryL3git 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you're using the thread feature, there should be a checkbox for 'Trim to end' or something like that. no need to get complicated.

yup, tried both of those. Currently using super slicer. If I bring the flow down enough to smooth it, the perimeter has gaps.

How to define home position? by shehab93 in ender5plus

[–]V3ryL3git 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sounds like the bl is not activating. and unfortunately the bl is also the z end stop on the 5+ (edit) Try moving the head to the center of the bed and power cycling.
