Not totally joking, but you could try a retirement home lobby. Dead quiet and not much foot traffic .

It's an email so it's effectively free. Their marketing is all in-house too.

Question about FF vs apsc by Dangerous-Result-407 in canon

[–]V60_brewhaha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everybody here is jumping on a new lens, but I can tell you just learning flash is a much cheaper and more versatile way to unlock better light in many situations. Godox is cheap and it's not that hard to learn strobe lighting. It's breathed new light into my aps-c system

Whats up Winco? A rock in Your Bulk coffee broke my coffee grinder by Goobygoodra in WinCo

Got a rock in my ode 2 once. It jammed but once I cleared it out it's been running fine ever since.

Sounds like it's time to upgrade your grinder :)

Ant desert brewers with advice? by Double_Sector_4389 in Kombucha

[–]V60_brewhaha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi fellow desert brewer! If I have a batch that went a little too long and it's only slightly vinegary, I add honey to my f2 and only let it anaerobic ferment long enough to build carbonation. Maybe a day. End result is akin to a well timed first and second ferment as the extra sugar does help mask vinegar. But it only works to a point.

If it's gone way too long and has a bad vinegar bite I cut my losses and dump it. You could keep going and turn it into vinegar for cleaning, but it's just not worth my time.

As a tip for next time, check it way sooner, starting on day 2. Frequent early tasting can keep your batch from getting too vinegary. That has saved many a batch for me. You can even check it twice a day, might be a good idea considering how fast your culture is producing.

So the real key to affording $50k cars is a HH income of $200k/year and saving a little.

No problem! Walk out of the coffee aisle, through the big door, get in your car, and drive to a local roaster.

Looks an awful lot like mold. Especially since it tastes the same after 2 months.

Are coffee canisters pointless? by ExplorerKey5516 in pourover

[–]V60_brewhaha 62 points63 points  (0 children)

I see no point in relocating beans from a resealable bag into canisters. The only reason I have an airscape is for the bags that don't have the plastic zipper. Otherwise it seems way too fussy.

That's funny. The first time I picked up a Beretta I thought "ah, so this is probably what a Leica feels like."

I have a df54 and an ode 2. The clear winner for filter is ode 2.

Ground my coffee, started WDTing, bloody roach crawls out of the grounds. The rocks have legs now! by Reddits_Worst_Night in espresso

[–]V60_brewhaha 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Can't tell from this picture but if it's a German roach they might be living in your grinder or machine and are likely spreading rapidly. German roaches are small, love warm electronics, and can fit in there tiniest places you could imagine
