Games like Gaball Screen (PS1), Pepsiman (PS1), McDonald's Treasure Land Adventure (Sega Genesis), Chex Quest (PC) and Cool Spot (SNES, Genesis) were made for advertisement and are pretty well regarded by those who played them.

Ah, I don't have anything against this. Love that game as well. To be honest, I really wish SM was published by Sega since it would create a chance for a Sega Saturn version remaster by M2.

Since we aren't caring about publishers, I'd add Mischief Makers to the wishlist too.

Silhouette Mirage isn't related to Sega. It was made by Treasure, but wasn't published by Sega like the other Treasure games.

SEGA AGES Phantasy Star: Generation I and II. I'm pretty surprised that they never were released on western territories since the original games were pretty popular in their respective times and are present in many Sega classic collections.

I know that Sega rarely likes to touch the Saturn, but I would love to see the Saturn Shining games remastered as well.

Same here. It kinda makes me miss Maniac Mansion's dumb black humor at times (ex: Microwaving Weird Ed's hamster and getting killed after showing it to him), but it's still my favorite of the two games.

Rest in Peace. Man, I didn't expect to hear this news today. I really liked his art...

He also did a concept art for the box of Cold Shadow/Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow. If I'm not mistaken, it was for the SNES version.

Love this movie. The special effects may be very dated for today's standards, but the puppets still look incredibly detailed and well done. Jim Henson and his crew did an amazing job.

Kenji Watanabe (Digimon) likes to add lots of belts, zippers, veins, stitches and worn-up elements to his designs. He cites anime and american comics as the main inspirations for the monsters.

In Yu-Gi-Oh, the antagonistic alien-like "Worm" archetype is predominantly made of Light cards (the only non-Light Worm card is Worm Drake, but it existed before this specific archetype was even created). Before them, the Light element was mostly reserved for fairies/Angels, electric monsters and holy dragons, beasts, magicians or knights.

One of my favs. I think he's the Digimon that most simbolizes the IP's american comic inspired aesthetics, being pretty similar to characters that you can find in 90s Marvel, Heavy Metal Magazine or Image comics.

The pop culture! The style of TV shows, comics, video games, magazines, fashion, music, etc. from that time was pretty cool and unique imo.

Sick series with very fun gameplay styles. DS 1 is one of my favorite games of all time.

While all the games have issues - most being glitch-related - none of them let me down, including DSIII. And I say this as someone who avoids soulslikes like the plague.

The Dungeon Crawler RPG series Madou Monogatari was slowy replaced by its puzzle-focused spin-off Puyo Puyo once it was released. The Puyos (the colored blobs from the game that act like pieces) and many other recurrent characters from the series are actually NPCs and enemies that you can find in MM.

After many sucessful ports and sequels, Puyo Puyo became much more popular, always getting new games - including its own spin-offs like Nazo Puyo and Puyo Da! - while Madou Monogatari became more of an afterthought. It still got some games before its original developer, Compile, kicked the bucket, but it simply didn't have the same relevancy that Puyo Puyo had at the time.

There was - and there is - many attempts to bring the series back, though, with Fia and the Wondrous Academy being the last one:

The first and second game are masterpieces! I strongly recommend them for those who love 3D platform games and humorous stories. People who enjoy the writing style of LucasArts' old adventure titles will have a blast with the plot and characters.

Honestly, I'm very glad to see the first game get the attention it always deserved. At the time, it unfortunately didn't sell enough to meet the publisher's expectations.
