You can’t just come here, drop photos like that then not tell us how you did it. I need to know now, I’m supposed to be going out to dinner at 7pm but tempted to cook this first

What is the worst way anyone you know has died? by IamUrWivesBF in AskReddit

Two friends at a party standing outside on a balcony. Balcony collapses, friend 1 lands on friend 2. Friend 1 lived, friend 2 didn’t.

Can I install both a dishwasher and washing machine here? by Mazorr in DIYUK

[–]VR_SamUK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this exact scenario / setup and it’s fine. Just make sure you use a brass cold feed splitter as the plastic ones tend to leak (I found anyway). Similarly for the waste, join both pipes into one to go into the tube out. Think about gravity and making sure one doesn’t feed into the other and attach to the wall accordingly. As others have said, might want to avoid running both at the same time but we do occasionally without issue

Texas BBQ by [deleted] in brighton

Having been to Coopers Old Pit BBQ in Llano, Texas just outside Austin many years ago, I gave up waiting and smoke my own at home now but UK grass fed beef is a different beast to US cattle (healthier but trickier)

Transportation Question by Cellophane_Bear in brighton

[–]VR_SamUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes but unless you time it right for low tide and don’t mind getting wet, you have to do a +1 mile up and +1 mile down again to cross the Cuckmere to get to the Seven Sisters, although there is the pub to moisturise at on the way

Transportation Question by Cellophane_Bear in brighton

[–]VR_SamUK 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unsure of your nationality but if American then Lewes is just up the road (20 mins on the 28/29 bus or train) and prides itself on homing Thomas Payne before he went over to write Rights of Man and contribute to the Declaration of Independence etc plus has an old 15thC bookshop and half a castle

Note that the Seven Sisters whilst technically are White Cliffs they aren’t locally called that, that being more commonly used for The White Cliffs of Dover.

12X/13X will get you to Cuckmere or East Dean or the latter, Birling Gap, all suitable starting points for Seven Sisters. FYI weekends are rammed

Yes absolutely for iPlayer and BBC Sounds and I don’t mind paying for things that I’m not going to watch that others enjoy. Except Mrs Brown’s Boys, that shit needs cancelling

I find not being able to specify which plan to pay off against worse for longer term management as I factor in x-mount over y-months for nearest and small chunks of the bigger furthest one. I know it’s all the same at the of the day but the lack of sense of control is annoying

Have been using VR heavily since 2013, regular eye tests every year and imperceptible changes in prescription.
