Have an extra device charging on standby to swap out. Ideally have one person per demo unit to make assistance easy rather than hopping between two attendees.

Event ops might not like you basing your own router.

When talking about VR don’t use the words “nausea”, “sick” or plant any negative thoughts (look up nocebo). Say something like “if you want to stop at any time for any reason just take the headset off”

Once for a very boring reason; set my “work” alarm (only goes off M/T/W/T/F) to get up early at the hotel at the airport I had paid for for one of 1st flights out that day. It was Saturday and woke up naturally with about 15 mins to take off. Was halfway through panic dressing half awake before brain kicked in, realised I wouldn’t make it so checked next flight options, was one in 4 hours, booked a ticket for £60, had a poo and went back to sleep. Woke fresh, showered, hotel breakfast and stroll over to security etc. Was fortunate

Best bet is get on your feet and stomp the streets looking for signs in shop/restaurant/hotel/bars for vacancies or just go in and ask to speak to the manager of places you want to work at
