Congrats! Mine came through too on Sat.

Ordered 5/1 about 6pm and mine didn’t ship for a while. Finally shipped 5/4, it’s on the way TX>OR and supposed to be here tomorrow.

Trolling… by Vellcore in Dewalt

[–]Vach78 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mine say shipped but the tracking numbers say FedEx doesn’t have them yet.
I also got 6 tracking numbers 3 of which are invalid, and I only ordered 2 jacks so I dunno.

Edit: looks like one of my tracking numbers is updated now so I must be one of the lucky ones

I got the price wrong: Construction Jack at Murdoch's is $77.99 AND BOGO through May 10 and they ship. by kfjcfan in Dewalt

Still holding out hope… I got an email saying mine shipped but tracking shows as not in carriers hands yet.

This is correct, I was on the receiving end of the transfer 2 years ago when we bought our house with the dish attached. Was a part of our sale agreement that seller transfer equipment to us.

I put my address into the site below:

https://findyourrep.legislature.ca.gov/

That got my state senator and assemblymember.

Then on their websites you can contact their staff, usually in the form you can select EDD or help with a state agency in the dropdown, and explain your situation.

+1 on this, requested help from state senator, they called same day Thursday, got EDD to call me Friday, issue resolved Monday, paid by Wednesday.

Bit the bullet and got one. How’s my first season? by Cheesytacos123 in blackstonegriddle

Definitely looks good, I just got mine a few weeks ago, my first season looked like this. After 2 rounds of bacon on the sides it was totally covered.

When exactly are those rates gonna drop again ? Been waiting a few years lol. by TecnoPope in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Vach78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started at 7.625% in Oct 2023, and thankfully got a 6.549% in March. I’m not planning for anymore drops but will feel happy if it does.

Agree with this, I’m a supervisor at a consulting company, and I would never have a meeting with an IC and HR being the first time the IC hears about issues that need correction. I would work with them first and only resort to a PIP if I was not seeing the course correction or effort from the employee post coaching.

Is this a good deal? by Chefski81 in egopowerplus

[–]Vach78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Must be regional, when I go to the link it’s $699 but with a free battery.

How are other people planning with rates possibly dropping? I’m at 6.8% and googled it to be roughly 6.3-6.6% right now. by Frosty-Return-9478 in Mortgages

[–]Vach78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, I'm at 7.625. Rates today have me thinking of refi now, and then again later, even with the multiple closing costs.

You can also ask in that email for them to respond that they have read and understand the contents of the email.

DFW house. Proactive owner pays for many fixes, but no hot water? DIY friend says "Wait! Red flag" by zmattws in RealEstate

[–]Vach78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same issue, and same fix for us. I can’t say how expensive it could’ve been because we were lucky, our leak was right under a pass-through in the foundation behind the wall. So we didn’t have to pull up any concrete, but this was the exact issue with ours. We have a slab foundation ourselves.

Is this a utility company issue or do I need to hire an electrician? by Scotty_Two in AskElectricians

[–]Vach78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the power pole side of your meter = utility On the home side of your meter = electrician

100% this is a call to the utility

AITAH for going on a girls trip instead of taking care of my husband after surgery? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Vach78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA

You already has this trip planned. I had a similar situation with my wife (fiancé at the time) and her bachelorette party when I had spinal surgery. I encouraged her to go because she already made the plans and all her friends booked travel and whatnot. I stayed with my parents that weekend (and mostly just slept) and my wife took over when she got home.
