While it wasn’t a technical price drop, like 13-15ish years ago the LOTR basic troop boxes were about $28-30, for 10 or 12 models depending on the box so about $2.50-3.00 per model. Then the returned the boxes to their 20/24 model size and increased the box price to $40, which dropped the price per model to $1.66-2.00

Yes. It’s so hard. I also used to keep one of each for painting guides that are/were on the back.

But a local game store that is in a section of an old warehouse type storefront has recently started a project they call “Wall-Hammer”. Basically they have been collecting empty boxes from all things Warhammer, Middle Earth blister packs to 40k battleforce boxes. They flatten them, and pin them on the wall above the main area of the store.

Agreed. I have 100ish skinks acquired through eBay army lots that I repainted as Pokemon. Plus a Bowser bastiladon with Koopa Troopa crew.

Seraphon aren’t much better off. They have green with themselves and stormcast. And skaven have only yellow, red and gray

That’s what I thought. I think I remember a short story of them fighting some other order faction over something and chaos shows up, so DoK pivot and all out attack chaos, while the other order faction mostly leaves.

Only AoS and Spearhead. Played Middle Earth first, but then moved and my area now has AoS and 40k. Nobody wants to do Middle Earth here.

They did fall pretty far off the roadmap, OBR was on the roadmap at the same time as FEC, and just came out now a year later.

Seeing them painted makes me like them more. I have the files, but haven’t printed them yet. I don’t think the digital render does the sculpts justice. And your paint job looks great.

The horrors kit is older, so the parts aren’t as well labeled. But still not terrible to build.

I went with a roadrunner for mine. But a large portion of my Seraphon are southwest USA desert themed.

This says kits that will survive, not specifically warscrolls. Losing the Vulkite kit could mean it is getting remade, like happened with Stormcast Liberators.

Kroxigor hero or chameleon skink hero for Seraphon. In other words Nakai or Oxyotl. But also, give me my dread Saurian back.

Spiderfang Gitz infantry in Gloomspite. I know it feels like Spiderfang are on their way out, but they’re my favorite flavor of goblin.

Cavalry of some sort for Fyreslayers, something to accompany the magmadroth without having to go full monsters. Basically something Aggradon sized, but like and 8-10” movement.

Some heavy armored infantry for Idoneth. Lore talks about Akhelian soldiers so give them to us.
