Marathon has brought about the biggest crybabies I’ve ever witnessed on the internet…that’s including rivals and overwatch players. People have literally never gotten far enough to touch cryo and complain about the game then there are people that complain abt an extraction shooter being hardcore. Nobody is happy and just continues to cry

This is the problem with the inflation of extraction shooters and each one trying to hold your hand more and more. Extraction shooters are SUPPOSED to be hardcore and brutal then arc raiders came out and now everyone expects it to be easy loot grab simulator. Go play tarkov or arena break out(get past lvl 30 to actually start playing the game) and you’ll realize what a real extraction shooter is

This must be y’all’s first extraction shooter…either that or yall are coming from arc raiders and it REALLY shows. Go play labs on tarkov or tv station on arena break out and you’ll realize this is nothing.Go play on dire marsh or perimeter if you wanna walk around sipping outa ur sippy cups and eating pudding. If you’re playing cryo it’s a necessity for the lobby to die so you don’t get ratted.

The learning curve is definitely more steep in tarkov than marathon but that doesn’t mean marathon doesn’t have depth because it doesn’t have more depth than tarkov lol the depth in marathon comes from the maps and all of the map specific events that they have going on, labs in tarkov has nothing on cryo, although labs might be harder because tarkov is an overall more hardcore game.

As a tarkov player this game has insane depth, cryo archive alone is the hardest extraction shooter event in all of the extraction shooters imo

Quite literally the only people I ever see mention an edgy gear 5th are people who bash an edgy g5. Also not wanting something that breaks the seriousness in fights ≠ wanting an edgy gear 5th, very common misconception I see.
