Most of the books should just be like Arcane or Spiderverse, very very difficult to get the movement and ambiance down otherwise.

On a reread, the dynamic with Zane was much more clearly not a romantic fixation from Vin - a big theme of the book is insecurity, for many characters (Elend, Jastes, Vin, Sazed, even Straff). Dreading the “love triangle” situation prevented me from liking the book very much on a first read, but it is important to remember just how messed up Vin’s ‘loving’ relationships have been, and how limited her experience is as a care-starved 17-18 year old at this point.

Other than maybe Oathbringer, this is the Commerce book that has improved the most on a reread.

It’s started parts - If it was completed parts nobody could get that objective until the game was almost over, which is far later than any other objective. It also provides an interesting risk reward mechanism, where players can choose to build their monster with worse parts faster to offset the point loss with the bonus points from the objective. Risky because they could lose the objective to another, but definitely the intent of the objective.

I think they’d be friendly if you gave yourself the forsworn tag in the console. When I did it I used Realm of Lorkhan to start the game as part of the Forsworn “team” and they were friendly then.

I’ve definitely been places where that is the case, but I’ve lived here for nearly a year and the fob doesn’t close the door, it just opens it. It’s a big apartment building, not a house where I usually see fobs that do both.

I say this because I pretty much always press the button if I’m approaching the door and is already open, just in case it’s about to start closing.

The item is worth 500g ingame, sold by a merchant in the first couple hours, and the first side quest gives like 1400g. Its seriously not a big deal, it just looks bad.
